Forbidden Planet by W.J. Stuart Bantam A1443 1st Print March 1956 $25
Movie tie-in. Classic Robby Robot cover
Fine minus/Fine. Tight pages. Spine has slant , some dust soiling and light creasing to covers. Light marker erasure, done very well. Still a good looking copy of a classic.

The host is dragging his butt out of bed. Went and played guitars with a few buddies in the garage after listing last night, and you know how that goes
Buddies and rock 'n' roll always take priority.

Well, it's morning somewhere (although not where I am) - so where's the party?

Fright by George Hopley (Pseudonym of Cornell Woolrich) Popular Library 424 1952 Rare 1st PB $65
Super tough 1st pb of this novel from the noir master. Also one of Belarski's last covers for Popular Library and one of his best imho.
Fine/Fine plus. Tight and glossy, has slight slant. Has a few light creases and surface wear, a well presenting piece overall.

Sinner by Gordon Semple Croydon Love Novel 16 $50
L.B.Cole painted sleaze GGA cover in nice shape. These Croydon Books were printed on cheap paper and are very tough to find in nice shape.
Fine plus. Nice presenting copy. Strong colors. Solid spine with slight slant. No significant creasing only some light bends. Tiny stain to upper right corner.

Brood of Fury by Jess Shelton Crest Giant d434 1st Printing March 1961 $25
Great Stan Zuckerberg tail-lights cover.
Fine Plus Square, glossy and smooth. Colors are deep. Bindery chip at top spine. Small pen name on front page. Off white pages, normal toning to interiors. Dust shadow and small crease on lower back cover. All that said, it's a pretty book.

Going to switch over to some Good Girls for a bit...
Overboard by George F. Worts Popular Library 292 1950 $50
A "stone cold classic" if there ever was one and tough to get in any condition. Belarski Bondage/Headlights cover, one of his most notorious.
VG+ Solid and tight with a few light creases. A great bargain copy

I Robot by Isaac Asimov Signet s1282 1st PB, 1st Printing March 1956 $75
Iconic Robot cover art by Robert Schulz. The big daddy of all Asimov pb's. Tough to find at all let alone in any kind of decent shape due to the black cover and notoriously poor Signet construction.
Fine plus. Spine is solid with a backwards lean, pages tight. Glossy without major creases, there is a pressure line along the left side that barely breaks color and a bit of edgewear/color flakes. Bindery chip to top of spine. Real nice for this book

I love watching Surfing Alien put them up and Goldust take them down! It's like feeding time at Sea World!
I admit that that thought did come to mind...
