  1. I got my Detective #168 back from CGC finally. I got a 6.0 with off white pages. Once I figure out how to upload the photo I will. (Me not real good at computers) Tec 168 Facebook
  2. Awwww, that was my 2.0 I was very happy with that grade considering the cover was detached. I was even happier with the 3.0 they gave me for the #31 and the 4.0 for the 35. I think the CGC gods looked down upon me that day.
  3. Any new collections and/or new dealers pop up with some cool stufff?
  4. I picked up Marvel Tales #125 and #126 and a Mysteries(Weird and Strange) #1 today. If I can figure out how to post pics I will.
  5. Question for GATOR, I have a chance to possibly purchase a recently graded 'Tec 15 in 8.0 with Cream to O/W pages. It is tied for the highest graded #15 (besides the ungraded MH 15 that graced us a few weeks ago) and was asking what you think a fair offer for this book might be? I was thinking $8500 or something around there but with limited sales on this book in any grade let alone the highest graded to date, I dont want to insult the owner and I really want to acquire it. I looked at it before he sent it in and I, along with a few other collectors, told him it was at least a 7.5. I was very happy to see it come back an 8.0. If anyone else would like to give me some opinion on a fair offer I would appreciate it. You can reply here or Inbox me. Thanks everyone.
  6. Puts the 4.0 I had to shame! What a great looking book.
  7. Considering that Sparkle City also sold a Tec 29 in CGC 4.5 on Ebay(I believe) for just a shade over 20K less then 4 months ago shows that either that book went too cheap or this 1.0 went wayyyyyyyyyyyy to high.
  8. Was this the issue that Sparkle City said was the toughest issue to find when completing a run for a customer?? I think Jay said something like this 20-25 years ago, but for some reason part of my memory thinks this was the reason. I could be completely wrong.
