  1. Just finished this one. Took a popular image of Bullseye and then added Hulk in the knife blade. Also, my first time coloring anything. Learned alot for next time. Happy overall.
  2. I totally agree. I was into comics as a kid (in the 90s) , subscribed to Wizard, etc. I didn't know what AF15 was until I started lurking this board a few weeks ago. Before I started reading up on the SA Keys, in my mind X-men 1 would be my ultimate "dream book". I mean it honestly still is (even though I somehow want an AF15 , too!) The popular characters of the present, 10 yrs ago, and 20 yrs ago, should be somewhat a relative driver of future demand. (Especially if we are comparing blue chip characters to blue chip characters... X-men and of course Spidey were big in the 90s... I don't remember any of my 12yo buddies thinking the Fantastic Four were cool!)... just one anecdote but bottom line I consider X-men to be very top tier in terms of mainstream cultural staying power. Would put Batman and Spidey in the same boat. That's how I was until I joined here. In my mind if I could get an Xmen 1 then I was set as I had always wanted one since I was a teenager. Just wondering how old you guys are? As I feel similarly. I am 24 and the two books I have coveted most since childhood are XM 1 and AF 15. Admittedly I wanted an AF 15 more as I always loved spidey more as a kid but XM 1 is a close second. I know when I was younger I thought FF was boring. I have grown to appreciate them more and ff1 does have the second best cover, behind AF 15, IMO. But nostalgia trumps the cover. I'll be 41 in a few weeks

  4. I thought I had posted in here but I guess I didn't. Here is mine, got it last summer I think.
  5. Why don't you draw anymore? You are very good, you should consider starting back up.I would hate to see such talent go to waste. Thank you I have actually been thinking about starting again, just need something to inspire me. Those usually take me weeks except those Disney ones took maybe half a day. I see you're in Central Texas. I don't know exactly where you are, but there are some great shops (Jerry's Art-A-Rama) in Austin and Houston that have affordable supplies if you're ever in those areas. Thnx if I get serious into it then I will know where to go. Never heard of these shops. I just use pencil and plain paper when I draw. Never had a lesson but when I was a kid my older sister took art lessons and sometimes I would watch her.
  6. Thnx, I still draw a little bit here and there. Last month I doodled Spiderman shooting a web on my mortgage payment, my g/f saw it and said "Did you just draw that in the time I went to the kitchen?" I don't think I have ever even shown her my drawings.

  8. I used to draw alot when I was younger. Most of these are from about 20yrs ago. Sorry for the bad lighting.
  9. Right here! I luckily bought a Colt 6920 last summer. Have nine 30rd PMAGs which should last me a good while. Was thinking about getting a Noveske before everything happened, not gonna happen anytime soon now. Bought a Remington 700 SPS-AAC 2 weeks ago, installed a Nightforce rail and a Vortex Viper PST scope. Can't wait to take it out and get it sighted in.
  10. Is this the correct place to nominate someone for the probation list? I bought some empty slabs from member ryanmadam on Nov 1st, 2012 and still have not received them. Contacted him/her on on Nov 27th and was told they would be shipped the next day. Still nothing as of Dec 15th and no offers of a refund.
  11. Yeah when I read that I thought "Sounds like they have a 12 year ol writing this stuff"
  12. awesome work. I agree, awesome work but wow someone has a lot of time on their hands
  13. Red foil lettering or not I would be pi$$ed if I paid the big bux for one of those unsigned copies. This is a really $hitty thing for Skybound to do IMO. But you guys are right someone will buy them and by the end of the weekend Skybound will have the $62k in sales.

  20. I've never seen that printing error and none of my 100's are like that. I personally wouldn't pay any extra $$ for it but that's just me.
