  1. Well, that's because you thought that comic was worth $2,500. Why buy more?
  2. I bet there's a lot of those in 1st print holders. No one seems to know anything about it. JC Penny did some reprints that looked the same as their 1st prints, but that was around 1992.
  3. That is an amazing copy = congrats!!! A run from 12-153 in 9.4 is a huge achievement. Esp #12-#30. Wow.
  4. Man, this book frustrated me back in the day. Searched for 20 years and never found a nice copy. That 9.6 is a beauty.
  5. The back cover overhang (you can see it on the upper right) is creased about 2-3". I guess CGC doesn't ignore overhang.
  6. Here's another one from that same stack. Damage to overhang I suppose hammered the grade.
  7. 1992 or so. They also had a stack of Forever People #1 and New Gods #1. It was a good day.
  8. Lee's Comics in Mountain View, CA had a stack of these on the counter for $5 each. Unfortunately, my buddy searched through the stack first and got a 9.6. Boo.
  9. It's been 20+ years since I've looked at that defect up close, but I think it is slightly torn, but just on one side so it is not going to come off.
  10. Yeah other than the dent on cap's right shoulder, its a really nice copy.
  11. The weird thing about this issue is that there really is nothing "3-in-1" about it. Only two stories and they just picked three random characters to make it "3-in-1". LOL
