  1. Take my $1000 and buy an Ultimate Spider-Man #1 White Variant. Than make the rounds on my book tour with my right hand man, Warren Buffett, on how to make the sweet, sweet money.
  2. This is the third thread about Maxx variants. Does that could as research?
  3. By the way, Darkhawk's popularity is somewhat due to his iconic look. If they did make a Darkhawk based off some sort of Hawkman clone, I have no doubt that serious would of died a short and quick death.
  4. This particular comic annoys me because technically its not a second printing. It wasn't sold at stores, gas stations or grocery stores after the 1st printing sold out. It was more of a promotional piece for a board game. Now having said that, I definitely want a HG copy for my collection so maybe it's a moot point.
  5. Are we talking CGC graded comics or just raw, back issue comics?
  6. Scud! About a disposable vending machine robot that was hired to assassinate a beast named Jeff. Before finishing the job, he realized that upon killing Jeff he would die so he put the beast on life support and took odd jobs to pay the bills. An astounding story line unlike ANYTHING else produced at that time. The 1st issue can get up to $20. A bonus was that it was a Wizard top pick one month. Since it was an independent title, copies were a little harder to find later in the series.. Many of the covers are awesome in and of itself. Here's issue #3 literally mocking the industries current norm at that time.
  7. New Warriors #5. You can't find this comic in 9.8 or really any grade anywhere.
  8. The king will always be Ultimate Spider-Man #1 White Variant. You "Ulitmate 4" contender is a late bloomer at best.
  9. On a different note, I always liked this comic's cover but rarely hear many who have heard about it:: The print run was less than 500 copies and when I suggested this to websites like http://www.recalledcomics.com, they seem uninterested. heh.
  10. I have a crow #1 somewhere but due to time constraints I gave up finding it. Anyways, I've been after an Albedo #2 for nearly a decade. Just can't win in bid wars. So that's a Cerbus #1 6.5, a counterfeit Cerbus #1 9.2, A Flaming Carrot Comics #1 in NM+, Albedo #3 in NM, a Comic Primer #2 in 9.2, a Bone #1 in 9.4,Turtles #1 in 8.5 and an Spider-Man #300 Black Foreign Cover Variant in NM.
