  1. For what's its worth I ran this by my wife and she responded, "Are TMNT 1s in lower grade available to even buy?" Uhhh, good point. Maybe my advice stinks.
  2. Do the trade, apply the cash to the kitchen, flip the FF and use those proceeds to buy a lower grade TMNT 1.
  3. You can request a Blue label and take the hit on the grade. So many copies of Albedo 2 are signed that it's one of the few books that collectors may actually prefer the higher grade green label.
  4. It's not a second print. See the TMNT speculation thread for the discussion.
  5. Over $400 now. I'd love to see the look on the buyer's face when they spend stupid money on this comic, open the package, and find an ashcan sized comic inside.
  6. If anything is worth making a pilgrimage for its a decorated sewer cover.
  7. It's the mini comic that comes with the Visual History of the TMNT hardcover, which happens to be a reprint of the second print. That listing isn't directly deceitful but certainly isn't going out of its way to be upfront about what it is.
  8. Auctions end tonight, both still cheap as of this post. The Lady Death book is pretty tough with those signatures.
  9. Eniac is great. I liked Whalesville. Looking forward to reading Tankers when my copies come in this week.
  10. Post hoc signature verification seems like a pretty stupid business to be in.
  11. If I use profits from selling comics to buy more comics, I can record those purchased comics as a loss? If true, that changes everything.
  12. Laird book and the Wolverine comics sold via PM. Last drop on the Red Room to $30.
  13. If someone buys the Red Room or the Laird book, or both, I'll include the two Wolverine comics for free. TAKEN
  14. The Technician novel by Mike Kirby, with cover art and illustrations by Peter Laird. This predates Laird's TMNT work. Rare from what I can tell. Really nice shape. $50. SOLD
