  1. I voted for "Other? Please Make a suggestion or PM me" but I have no suggestion. 1 - Happy Birthday 2 - I will temporarily bestow upon you the nickname my my closest coworkers and I have given the 'new' guy: Trollish Little Weasel. 1 - 2 - Okay but I'm not that little.

  3. I think you mean New Mutants 25 I don't think so, or at least cgc has the full appearance as 26. First appearance 25, first full and first cover 26 I remember when New Mutants 25 was hot because of the Age of Apocalypse storyline. Time really is a flat circle.
  4. A handful of tough signatures. Ranging from cheap to not so cheap. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8912633#Post8912633
  5. It is a bid odd as we associate that with salesmanship, but on the other hand it is also a bit of a conceit in our hobby to play with number grades like its a science, which it surely is not. Sales are largely subjective, how people feel about the book's intangibles, its eye appeal, for example, is in the eye of the beholder. Agreed. We all operate within the illusory construct of CGC's purported objectivity when, ultimately, the process is that a grader looks through a comic, shrugs and writes down "9.8", which then sells for twice as much as a supposed 9.6. But it is a fun game to play.
  6. 9.4? What kind of half-azz worker did you have handling your books?
  7. Maybe I'll start a thread about it in Comics General. And the G/S/B forum. And the Name Change forum for the hell of it.
  8. Has anyone ever had a book just completely disappear in the mail? It appears that's what I'm dealing with.
  9. I was just accused of scamming someone out of $16. And I even posted scans. And it was for a book I sold for half of what I paid. :whee:
  10. This sounds like you wrote it. Did you write it? Or, did you solicit it? This is not a natural, spontaneous response. Woah.
  11. When I ate Shark Bites as a kid I always saved the great whites for last.
  12. Who's G-D? Gary Dolgoff....? That would be cool if it was Gary Dolgoff, what with the comics connection and all... Dolgoff turns to Overstreet as his word of G-D.
  13. That's how I read it as well. I wonder if Arch has a legal background of some sort. The construction of his response looks very familiar. Wait, are you saying Arch is actually Comix4fun??? HarveySwick.
