  1. This was the worst genre film of the year. BvS was superior to Dr Strange.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with this. Dr. Strange was too... generic. And I had a hard time recognizing the character I grew up reading in comic books. It was an okay movie; not terrific but not bad. Luckily we are getting GOTG2 which should be different enough from the Marvel movie formula to make it interesting.

I have to ask, have they introduced the sentient cape into the comic yet?

It is too bad Marvel isn't embracing their history (I wanted Mandarin in Iron Man III) but instead are cowtowing to political correctness.

We got Mandarin in Iron Man 3, and the more I see it on reruns the more I like the twist with the character. lol

It was a much more interesting version of the character than the stereotype comic book original created for 12 year old's.

I can not stress how awful Iron Man 3 was to me. Just a horrible movie. I will point to the ridiculous scene of the tech guy in the van with Tony's face tatoo'd on his arm. Please Hollywood, stop with this garbage.

I thought that was funny. I don't have any problems with IM3 - it was entertaining enough.

Agreed! I know so many guys that tattoo could have been.......

  2. This movie was a big borefest, You sit there for 2 21/2 hours waiting for something happen and it never does, None of these characters really did anything. The same writer that wrote the Fantastic Four movie also wrote this, Big Red Flag, Glad I found $10 on the side of the road, I took at and saw this. I might has of well thrown that $10 bill and threw it in the waste basket where I found it.

i enjoyed it. But then again im not an a-hole who critiques every little thing in the world.

I'm the semi-bored a-hole somewhere in between these two opinions.

I did only pay $5.75 at matinee and smuggled my own hot tamales in.....

    Some of my thoughts...

Give me more Danger Room, I mean it's every bit as cool as Cerebro, and at the least is a protype model for the things like the holodeck isn't it?

Speaking of Cerebro, so Charles searches the world for disturbance and then sees Moira but not the level 5 mutant 200 feet below her??

Ok so in 10,000 years nobody ever left the door open to let sunlight in to burial chamber.....

I was disappointed in the extent of, or the showing of Apocalypse' powers.

    He also was too short!

Would have been better to explain alien technology link in Apocalypse' transference machine

    They nailed casting Psylocke!!

    Gimme more Quicksilver...

    F#bomb was forced and gratuitous

I think there's a lethal combination of Hot Tamales and Twizzlers Filled that ensures constipation

-jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u

Excuse me, friend of Jesus? Could you speak about women in some way that doesn't reduce them to a sexualized body part? We're trying to make this hobby an inclusive one, so let's act as if people of all kinds may be checking this forum out. Pretty sure Jesus didn't talk that way about women.

    Hey Guys,

    Lighten up Francis. doh!

I want you to meet Jimbo. Jesus' tush lovin' friend!

I am thoroughly amused at how this thread has brought out the snippiest of attitudes.

Seriously, who cares!!! This is about the TEEN TITANS.............. who gives a @#$%

I have no dog in this fight and read it for the pure enjoyment...... and to see how many idjets deny their 1st appearance 60

  4. I finally saw this movie. I liked it!

Had a good old Marvel feel to the characters. That's the key to this one. Not massive fights, world ending armies, or super God-like aliens. Just a guy with good intentions you are pulling for.

  5. Not sure which book, but wasn't there a kid being chastised for comic reading in "Creepshow" the movie?

    All I could find was...

The prop 10-cent "CREEPSHOW" comic book featured in the film was drawn and inked by veteran artist Jack Kamen, one of the artists for the original E.C. crime and horror comics of the 1950's. Creepshow was a tribute to these comic books. Jack Kamen also created the comic book-style poster for the film, which was also featured on the front of the Plume "Creepshow" comic book adaptation (which Bernie Wrightson, another prolific horror comic artist, drew and inked the interiors for). Originally, (Stephen King wanted Graham Ingels, another EC artist (famous for his work on the title "The Haunt of Fear") to do the artwork for the film's poster, but he refused. It was head of EC comics William M. Gaines who then suggested Jack Kamen do the assignment. Kamen accepted.

Wow talk about a scarce book! Great job of research.
