I managed to save a few more early '70's books. Thought I'd share them. They smell fantastic!

Just received this book from the same ebay seller that I got the copy of Weird Tales from. I'm really happy with the condition of this one. It's not near as old as the Weird Tales though. Sorry about the large scans. I need to figure out how to downsize them a little.

I cringe every time I see one of those padded envelopes arrive in the mail. Just because an item is being sent media mail doesn't mean it can't be sent in a BOX!

The printing on the spine has nearly faded away, but the cover is pretty nice. I finally added a pulp to my collection.

Yeah, that's what the problem is. The scanner appears to be focusing on the outside/frame of the slab, and not on the mag.. It's got a big ole bed on it, though. I'm not able to lay a mag. slab directly on the glass of my scanner. Too small of an area. Slabbed comics aren't a problem. Because I wasn't able to find any drivers for it, I had to purchase Vuescan to get my scanner to work with my Computer.

Maybe look up the scanner specifications? I think a CCD sensor is needed to scan items that do not sit directly against the scanner glass. At least that's what I've read. I purchased an used Microtek scanner on the bay. It has the CCD sensor, and works pretty good for scanning slabs. I think I paid about $150 for it.

Does the scanner have a type CCD sensor? By the way, that's a sweet TOTZ!

The Registry lists the issues as follows, #'s 8, 9, 10, 11, 6 and 7. Does anyone have or has anyone ever seen issues 6 and 7? Thanks in advance for any help. Thank you my friend. The acquisition process is a little painful, but once I've got the books in hand, all the pain seems to just fade away.
