  1. According to Pedigree Comics' CEO and President, Doug Schmell, his company's October Grand Auction will debut an incredible selection of magazines from the awesome Massachusetts pedigree! The auction is scheduled to begin in just over one week, on the night of Friday, October 11th and last for twelve (12) days until the night of Tuesday, October 22nd as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com). There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and EVERY book and magazine is listed with no reserve. Every book and magazine is CGC certified, and the minimum bid is only $30 for this auction. You can view and bid on all the high-grade Massachusetts and non-pedigree magazines in the Auction Preview right now (over 150 magazines). Just go to the Pedigree Comics website and click on the Auction banner. Over half of the magazines in the auction come from the Massachusetts Collection. The Massachusetts Collection was founded in 1993 by dealer Marnin Rosenberg after responding to an ad in the Comic buyers Guide. The collection contained approximately 4,000 comic books from various publishers and approximately 500 Marvel magazines. Mr. Schmell purchased the entire run of Mass. magazines directly from Marnin Rosenberg in the early 2000's and began selling them piecemeal on his website beginning in 2006. The bulk of the magazines were just recently certified by the CGC in the last week with outstanding results as most of them are in 9.6 to 9.8 grade with white pages! All your favorite Marvel magazine titles are in the collection, including Savage Sword of Conan (best run of the collection with over 100 issues between #1 and #235 plus Annual #1), Marvel Preview, Planet of the Apes, Crazy, Savage Tales, Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, Rampaging Hulk, Hulk, Tales of the Zombie, Dracula Lives and many more. This first part of the magazine auction also contains a great run of Creepys and Eeries from a collection out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada plus a run of Vampirellas, all in high grade! EVERY magazine in the collection is being auctioned without a reserve and the minimum bid is only $30.00. There are numerous highest graded copies to upgrade on as well. This is by far and away the greatest magazine auction ever held and the second part of the auction will commence in early November. Please check the website and the "Latest News" section plus this space over the next couple of weeks for more details and specific titles and magazines from Pedigree's Marvelous Massachusetts Marvel Magazine Mania Auction Part I. If you have high grade CGC certified comic books or magazines to sell or consign, do yourself a favor and contact Mr. Schmell. Please go to the site (www.PedigreeComics.com) and read the following for all consignment information or contact him directly at (561) 422-1120 or (561) 596-911 or by email at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. We are still accepting consignments for our Marvelous Massachusetts Marvel Magazine Mania Auction Part I beginning on October 11th. The sooner you consign your books and magazines the more exposure they will receive. We aggressively promote and advertise each auction and send periodic newsletters to all of our over 25,000 customers announcing the auction items. We also offer generous cash advances for quality consignments so check the site for consignment instructions and get your books in now. Pedigree Comics' CEO and President, Doug Schmell, invites you to take advantage of our many outstanding services. Consignors maximize their profits selling in the Grand Auction, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. We do not charge a buyers’ premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in other sites (the bidders simply deduct the buyers’ premium amount, usually 20% of the winning price, from their final bid, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home. We consistently set new sales records for Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age and Modern comic books and magazines in each of our monthly auctions and we do not saturate the market with the same material each month. We also specialize and feature quality consignments and collections in their own exclusive themed auction, something that other auction houses simply can not do. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with brand new CGC certified and diversified, highest quality material in each event. Why take home less $$ and settle for less by consigning with someone else? There are three easy ways to consign your books to the Marvelous Massachusetts Marvel Magazine Mania Auction. The only criteria is that the books and magazines must be CGC graded and worth no less than $30.00. If you have high grade raw books or magazines that you want to have certified and sold in the October Auction or a future Grand Auction, you can utilize our Raw To Riches Consignment Service, in which we will have your books certified under our account and will lay out all the CGC grading fees in advance for you (refer to the website and our Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide advertisement for all the details of the Raw to Riches Consignment Service). Here is how to consign: 1. Ship your books to our offices in Wellington, Florida. We will inventory, scan and upload each book into the Grand Auction listing. The items will be listed under your personal account and you will receive email notification at the conclusion of the auction with a list of every consigned book that sold along with the winning bid made. 2. Email the scans of the books you wish to consign directly to us at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. We will format and upload each scan onto our server and then put each book into the Grand Auction listing. Please use a .jpeg format with the resolution set at 72 and the pixel width at no more than 1200 for optimal clarity. If you do not have a scanner you can use a digital camera. 3. You can upload your own scans, item information, book descriptions and reserve amounts, if any, by utilizing our Automated Consignment System. Just register onto the site (www.PedigreeComics.com) and login, click the “Customer Page” tab under “Your Account” and then click “Consignments” (under the “Auctions” heading). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and list your own CGC certified books and magazines. We will receive an email once you have uploaded the scan and book information for each individual item into the system and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the Grand Auction listing to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to use the Automated Consignment System. If you have any questions or comments about the consignment process, any of the auction lots in the Marvelous Massachusetts Marvel Magazine Mania Auction or about the auctions in general, please contact Mr. Schmell at (561) 422-1120 (office) or (561) 596-9111 (cell) or at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. For any financial related and consignment payment questions, please contact our CFO, Lisa Shapiro, at LisaJoy@pedigreecomics.com and for any technical related questions or concerns, please contact our Web Master at WebDesigner@pedigreecomics.com.

We are now accepting consignments for our Marvelous Massachusetts Marvel Magazine Mania Auction beginning on October 10th. This is an incredible high grade magazine auction featuring over 500 magazines from different genres and publishers, more than half of which are from the incredible high grade Massachusetts Collection. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure they will receive. We consistently set new sales records for Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age and Modern comic books in each of our monthly auctions and we do not saturate the market with the same material each month. The only criteria is that the books must be CGC graded and worth no less than $25.00. If you have high grade raw books that you want to have certified and sold in the October Auction or a future Grand Auction, you can utilize our Raw To Riches Consignment Service, in which we will have your books certified under our account and will lay out all the CGC grading fees in advance for you (refer to the website and our Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide advertisement for all the details of the Raw to Riches Consignment Service). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and list your own CGC certified books. We will receive an email once you have uploaded the scan and book information for each individual item into the system and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the Grand Auction listing to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to use the Automated Consignment System. Please check the website (www.PedigreeComics.com) and the Latest News section over the next couple of weeks for all the latest additions to the September Grand Auction. Why take home less $$ and settle for less by consigning with someone else? There are three easy ways to consign your books to the September Grand Auction. The only criteria is that the books must be CGC graded and worth no less than $25.00. If you have high grade raw books that you want to have certified and sold in the September Auction or a future Grand Auction, you can utilize our Raw To Riches Consignment Service, in which we will have your books certified under our account and will lay out all the CGC grading fees in advance for you (refer to the website and our Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide advertisement for all the details of the Raw to Riches Consignment Service). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home. We consistently set new sales records for Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age and Modern comic books in each of our monthly auctions and we do not saturate the market with the same material each month. We also specialize and feature quality consignments and collections in their own exclusive themed auction, something that other auction houses simply can not do. This phenomenal auction features brand new CGC certified books from the famous pedigreed Winnipeg Collection, from the late 1960's, 1970's, 80's and early 90's, all in high grade. The auction began on the night of Tuesday, June 18th as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com). The first lot (Amazing Adventures #1 9.6) ends at 9:05 PM on Tuesday, July 2nd and the last lot (X-Men Annual #6 8.5 Winnipeg) ends at 11:30 PM. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and every book is listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $25 for this auction. You can view and bid on the high grade Winnipeg comics in the Auction Listing right now (over 360 lots). Just go to the Pedigree Comics website and click on the Auction banner. This latest batch of Winnipeg Marvels was just recently graded by the CGC and represents many of the duplicate issues that Mr. Schmell has stored over the past 25 plus years, when he originally bought the collection back in 1996. There are many different titles and issues to choose from, all in high grade and almost all with white pages (over 95% and with none less than off-white to white). There are well over 350 brand new Winnipegs to choose from, from Amazing Adventures to X-Men Annual with some really nice runs and groups of books (including Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, Eternals, Fantastic Four, Marvel Collectors' Item Classics, Marvel Tales, Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos, Thing and Uncanny X-Men). Please check the website and the "Latest News" section over the next few weeks for more details and specific titles and runs from the Winnipeg Collection in our upcoming July auction! If you have high grade CGC certified comic books to sell or consign, do yourself a favor and contact Mr. Schmell. Please go to the site (www.PedigreeComics.com) and read the following for all consignment information or contact him directly at (561) 422-1120 or (561) 596-911 or by email at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. We are now accepting consignments for our July Bronze & Copper Age Winnipeg Marvels Auction starting on July 11th. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure they will receive. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with brand new CGC certified and diversified, highest quality material in each event. Why take home less $$ and settle for less by consigning with someone else? There are three easy ways to consign your books to the July Bronze & Copper Age Winnipeg Marvels Auction. The only criteria is that the books must be CGC graded and worth no less than $25.00. If you have high grade raw books that you want to have certified and sold in the July Auction or a future Grand Auction, you can utilize our Raw To Riches Consignment Service, in which we will have your books certified under our account and will lay out all the CGC grading fees in advance for you (refer to the website and our Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide advertisement for all the details of the Raw to Riches Consignment Service). We are still accepting consignments for our Late June 1960's to 1990's Winnipeg Marvels Auction. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure they will receive. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with brand new CGC certified and diversified, highest quality material in each event. Why take home less $$ and settle for less by consigning with someone else? There are three easy ways to consign your books to the Late June Auction. The only criteria is that the books must be CGC graded and worth no less than $25.00. If you have high grade raw books that you want to have certified and sold in the Late June Auction or a future Grand Auction, you can utilize our Raw To Riches Consignment Service, in which we will have your books certified under our account and will lay out all the CGC grading fees in advance for you (refer to the website and our Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide advertisement for all the details of the Raw to Riches Consignment Service). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and list your own CGC certified books. We will receive an email once you have uploaded the scan and book information for each individual item into the system and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with brand new CGC certified and diversified, highest quality material in each event. Why take home less $$ and settle for less by consigning with someone else? There are three easy ways to consign your books to our June Bronze and Copper Age Marvel Winnipeg Auction. The only criteria is that the books must be CGC graded and worth no less than $25.00. If you have high grade raw books that you want to have certified and sold in the June auction or a future Grand Auction, you can utilize our Raw To Riches Consignment Service, in which we will have your books certified under our account and will lay out all the CGC grading fees in advance for you (refer to the website and our Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide advertisement for all the details of the Raw to Riches Consignment Service). Please check the website (www.PedigreeComics.com) and the Latest News section over the next month for all the latest additions to the June Winnipeg Marvel Auction. If you have any questions or comments about the consignment process, any of the auction lots in the May Sunrise Collection Marvel Auction or about the auctions in general, please contact Mr. Schmell at (561) 422-1120 (office) or (561) 596-9111 (cell) or at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. Please check the website (www.PedigreeComics.com) and the Latest News section over the next few weeks for all the latest additions to the auction. For any financial related and consignment payment questions, please contact our CFO, Lisa Shapiro, at LisaJoy@pedigreecomics.com and for any technical related questions or concerns, please contact our Web Master at WebDesigner@pedigreecomics.com.
