  1. Hi everyone! My twin sister and I were in Don Glut's movie called The Mummy's Kiss: 2nd Dynasty and when Don found out that I was into comic books he gave me these issues of The Occult Files of Dr. Spektor. They aren't in the best of shape but I thought I'd post 'em anyways. He also gave me some Marvel What If... issues that he'd written from the 70's. Very cool! (thumbs u P.S.- Here's a publicity photo for the movie (I'm on the one on the right)
  2. I'll keep it for now and even if I was to sell it, I wouldn't even know what to ask for it.
  3. I've had nothing but great experiences with fans (comic book and movies alike ) And am thrilled to be a part of the Collectors Society, especially the CGC. (thumbs u Everyone one of you are making me feel very welcome here and I thank you all for that.
  4. Hehehe...looks like I've been unmasked! I know, I know, I don't look like the type to read or collect comics but never judge a book by it's cover. (and that also applies to getting comics graded too!)
  5. Hehehe, I like to think I'm no different from you guys...except for the extra weight on my chest. Oh and I don't um...have the same "equipment" as most of you do.
  6. Thanks! I hope to be more active on the forums now that I've begun posting.
  7. Hi everyone! I've never posted on the forums before (guess I'm a bit shy) but like the rest of you, I'm also into comics and having them graded. I came across this thread awhile back and became obsessed with finding this Wolverine issue in at least a 9.6 condition. I submitted two that I already had and one came back as a 9.0 and the other as a 9.4. A few months ago I was at a comic shop in Ventura and they had a copy of Wolverine #35 shoved in a box on the floor. It was in a bag (no backing board) and it was marked VF+. I bought it for less than $2 and sent it in last month along with two other comics. I did look it over before sending it and only saw the infamous production defect but other than that everything looked fine. I got my comics back Friday and well here it is I apologize for the scan and wish I'd paid the extra imaging cost offered by the CGC. I know there is one other person who has Wolverine #35 in 9.8 but as for me, I couldn't be happier. (Unless it had come in at a 9.9 or 10!) Cheers!
