  1. Pep Comics 48 May 1944. Perhaps the bizarrest of the Pep covers--the "Archiefish!"
  2. Pep Comics 47 March 1944. Archie as a particularly ugly Shield.
  3. Pep Comics 46 February 1944. Archie as snowman.
  4. Archie Comics 6 January 1944. Great Christmas cover
  5. Pep Comics 45 January 1944. Archie trapped in a kite...
  6. Pep Comics 44 December 1943. OK, now it gets weird I do not know if it was Harry Sahle's idea or if it was an editor's decision, but the next few issues of Pep feature some pretty strange covers... This one is the "Archie as a football" cover.
  7. Archie Comics 5 November 1943. Great Halloween cover by Sahle.
  8. Pep Comics 43 October 1943. Another radio based cover.
  9. Archie Comics 4 September 1943. Archie Talks, Betty and Veronica fight and Souphead wreaks havock...all on the Blue Network.
  10. Pep Comics 42 September 1943 This issue, along with the next issue of Pep and Archie 4, advertises the new Archie radio show--Now appearing on the Blue Network. As you can tell by the condition of this and the following books, Archie and Pep issues from this time period are very hard to find in nice shape.
  11. Pep Comics 41 August 1943. This is the second Archie cover in Pep and the beginning of an uninterrupted series of Archie covers that would span the next 40+ years. Sahle turns in a nice cover this time
  12. Pep Comics 40 July 1943. This one gets my vote for the worst Pep cover ever
  13. Archie Comics 3 Summer 1943. The love triangle begins. Cover by Sahle.
  14. Pep Comics 38 April 1943. Archie is becoming more popular as shown by the banner across the masthead. The cover is one of the better of the late Pep war covers and is at least partially by Alex Schomburg.
  15. OK, thanks to Timely I now have the books to post Archie's second year in covers. Once again, I plan to cheat a little and post all of the Pep run that has superheroes on the cover. That will get us to Pep 50. After that issue, even though they continued through Pep 65, there are no more superhero appearances on the covers. Pep Comics 37 March 1943. Cover by Harry Sahle.
  16. Finally got this book Big thanks to Timely for helping me obtain it
  17. Huge kudos to Timely for connecting me with one of the nicest copies of Pep 44 I've seen
