  1. I was just mocking your assessment of "only" and "superb actor." Even removing Stewart and McKellen, Fassbender is the best actor of the lot. Peace, Chip
  2. Excuse me? Do you not notice Stewart and McKellen in that picture? Who's the d-bag NOW? Peace, Chip
  3. How has this guy not been beaten up yet? Peace, Chip
  4. Understood. Thanks for the advice. Peace, Chip
  5. I need to get in on this club. Just waiting for the right moment to strike. Was offered a nice VF- copy and am thinking it over...the price is nice. I'm thinking it will take upwards of $250 to get a NM raw example, yes? Peace, Chip
  6. Aaron hooked me up with a sweet copy of Nightmare #20...some rare early John Byrne artwork contained within. Not only that, he threw in a nice example of Savage Sword of Conan #15, also with rare early Byrne art! Thanks a lot, bud! Peace, Chip
  7. I knew about the smokestack, but not the fuel tank. Thanks! Peace, Chip
  8. How difficult are the Fantastic Fours to get? I'd only be interested in those to go with the rest of the FFs I have. Thanks in advance. Peace, Chip
  9. Received my book today, and it's stellar. Exactly as advertised (X-Men #130, CGC 9.4) and the shipping was lightning-quick. I'd be happy to buy more! Peace, Chip
  10. Prime goes for $175 loose/NM/complete on eBay regularly. Definitely get the Prime. Peace, Chip
  11. Micronauts has seen expensive high-grade examples for quite some time now. I've been into that line for 25 years...about 7-8 years ago it started taking off with rarer high-grade finds like the MOC aliens or Hornetroid/Terraphant. Of course, the grail pieces remain the GiG exclusives like Lobstros and Ampzilla. Peace, Chip
  12. I received the Box O Goodness (in the OK charity thread) from Jason (comicalgems) today, and let me tell you...it made me supremely happy. There's nothing like a ton of Silver and Bronze Age comics in NM/NM+ shape to bring a smile to your face. I tell ya...I was blown away. Peace, Chip
  13. I'm a member of a lot of forums and that's something that happens in all the other places. I wasn't aware of that difference here. You could have just typed the first part of your post and left off the second. Honestly, I don't get the underlying hostility here. Peace, Chip
  14. Crud. I didn't even see that thread that was suggested. Can a mod please move this thread asap, please? I don't want to upset anyone else. Peace, Chip
  15. If I have a question about the marketplace forum, where should I ask it? Peace, Chip
  16. No, no, no. That was not the point of this post. When I've sold I've never had more than 50 or so things to sell...never anything this massive that I wanted to sell so quickly. That's why I asked the question. Please don't put a different intent where it wasn't to begin with. Peace, Chip
  17. Okay then, thanks for the input. I'll start my massive single thread and see how it goes. I do have some moderns (like Infinity Gauntlet and such) so I'll start a thread in there eventually. Peace, Chip
  18. If I have a lot of books to sell (like over 1,000) that I plan on listing within the course of 10 days or so, should I have them all contained within the same thread? Granted there will be a few lots listed but the bulk will be individually scanned books (front & back). If not within the same thread (due to the size it will get to) should I break it up within multiple threads with only a handful of titles in it? I'd like to list the books here before I herd them over to eBay but don't want to clog the front page with multiple threads. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks. Peace, Chip
