  6. They are easy to get I have sold around 15 this year. I just sold 2 more yesterday, and Scott is mailing me 5 next week.
  7. Yeah the savage land item was great. I offered the 50 for it but lost out on it to another collector.
  8. Pound for Pound from a quality bang for the buck perspective, buying original published artwork seems to be a better buy both as a fan and as an investment compared to the remarks. Sure, a published cover starts at $5k, generally navigates the $6-8k range, and with the more popular characters can go for $10-15k+, but when you look at a "remark" with a simple head sketch, regardless of CGC grading, personally I'd rather have one quality cover over 10-20 quantity remarks, as a collector - - as well as from a long term perspective. He can crank out more and more sketches and remarks of varied detail and quality, but with published art it's iconic and recognizable with greater prestige as that one of a kind grail. So, in a way, when you look at the remarks and sketches, if they're truly selling for those $1-2k prices, his published artwork might indeed be the true steal of a deal today and could be underpriced in comparison, and maybe should be priced starting at least at $10k and averaging $20k Most of his marvel art now starts at least in the 10-15 range for minor characters. If it's spider man it starts at 20. If it's a team shot of characters expect to pay more. The savage land prints oa from sdcc this year sold at over 50 for the 3. Sold as set only. The Mary Jane iron spider cover was 25 The recent champions 1 cover is currently 18 The unpublished riri was 12 The dark knight cover was 20 The Harley Quinn cover was 20 The Spider-Man cover set from midtown was over 60 - MJ, Villians, Black Cat. Sold as set only. Spidergwen 1 was 18/rupps variant was 12 So anything popular and marvel/DC in the 6-10 range should be bought up fast. (Not x-factor/nova)
  9. Seriously Doug! Don't you have enough Adam Hughes sketches? You need to save some for me.... Needless to say, I'm jealous... 3 or 4 left on the list and he will be done with all my requests
  10. My latest commission from Adam was just completed today.
  11. I'm far from the JSC king. Dscott hands down wins with his OA collection. I don't know any other collector that has that many JSC OA covers. Also, there are some people that have amazing collections. They just don't post on the boards. I currently don't own a single jsc Cgc book so jreezy has me beat there. Great collection man. In the oa world right now Stan Lee and his manager have the crown for jsc art between the two of them. If I don't own it, and it's not posted on CAF it's a good bet one of them has it. That said I've been patiently wanting for something new to catch my eye. I liked the La'Mole cover but I'm not a huge fan of deadpool and if I'm spending over 20k+ on something I need to love it.
  12. Got these from Scott today feel free to send a pm if you want one
  13. Q: How much is the cost of getting a Scott Snyder RAW Signature via mail away? A: Scotts fee for raw books is $10 per book via mail away. return shipping is then $5 for 1-3 books or $10 for 3 or more books. Total cost would be be $15 for 1 book. This includes return shipping to you.
  14. Any books mailed to us will be charged the mail in pricing. That info can be found on www.ComicSketchArt.com
  15. I hope this helps. If you have not been charged in the past it seems you have been a lucky fan, as Scott had volunteers at the last two shows walking the lines letting folks know he was now asking $15 for cgc. Moving forward Scott will have either myself or a member of my team with him at all his signings no matter if they on the show floor, at a retailer booth, or at a local comic book store. Free signatures Scott is more than happy to sign for free for every fan who is not grading a book. If you read above you will see that he is allowing 5 raw books to be signed per trip through the line for free. There is no limit to the number of times you can queue. (due to agreements with both grading companies any books that are done this way and then passed off to them for grading will be returned) It should be noted he will not charge the $15 fee for graded books if you are willing to let him personalize your book. Graded Books Scott is charging a flat fee of $15 per book for everyone who wishes to have an item graded. This fee will be charged in the line or in private if you have a private signing set up. Publisher Signings Appearances at any publisher with a ticketed based system or lottery for signings such as DC or Image will still be free however the book count will be limited to 2-3 items per person. Again Scott will either have myself on site or a member of my team to help him maintain this limit.
  16. Please make sure that if you are a dealer or facilitator that you contract us directly. Do not continue to contact Scott as he is no longer responding to these messages. He is simply forwarding the emails to me. Doug
  17. ComicSketchArt is pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement to add Batman author Scott Snyder & artist Greg Capullo to our team of amazing talent. We will be handling all of their event appearances, and signings (public or private) moving forward for Graded and Raw books. If you are a dealer or fellow facilitator feel free to message us if you want to set up your own signing. These will operate exactly the same as our Frank Miller signings which everyone seems happy with. Public signings will work the same with Scott & Greg as they do now. Except we will now be sitting with them at shows and managing their line. To address a couple quick questions: 1 - They will not be raising prices it will be $15 a book for graded books (the current price for convention books for the last 2 years) and $20 for mail in graded submissions. 2 - You can submit on your own CGC account and we encourage it. 3 - You can submit through the CGC booth with one of their Witnesses. 4 - They will sign 3 raw books for free after that you can line back up for another 5 or pay a fee of $5 per book to have them all done at once. -edit - 3 books is now the limit for free signatures per trip through the line. 5 - We will have 3 mail in signings per year for raw or graded books, for those fans who cannot make it to a show. 6 - Any graded books submitted without paying the above mentioned fee will be returned by either grading company as raw books. We are simply here to make Scott & Gregs life easier and the signings flow smoother. There is no added mark up to any of the fans. The pricing structure will remain the same as it has for the last 2 years.
  18. That asm 607 is classic JSC. if that was a variant who knows what prices would be ? One of my favorite covers. I know ASM #607 gets all the love, but is there anybody like me that thinks that ASM #601 is actually the nicer cover? Jim I was offered the OA for 607 and passed on it. But 601 I'd pay a great deal for without even thinking about it.
