  1. If you do, Doug can get a photo of me overhead tossing him into the herd.
  2. I'll be in SD for the week. I'm seriously considering doing this as well. Sucks that I only have until June 9th to make my decision.
  3. There is a reason you're on my ignore list (and probably many others lists). You can't seem to grasp how a discussion works. we were doing ok with the discssion of current pricing, but then you derail it with your stupid PM request. You want the book(s) then bump that WTB thread you have. Please also learn how to use the "Enter" (Return) button. In case you had trouble finding it. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=257627&Number=5664568#Post5664568
  4. Create a WTB thread in the correct forum if you want to buy something. This is the discussion forum. Let's keep it to that.
  5. John mentioned that there should be an SDCC version of this as well.
  6. so, 10 different covers? and the chromium one is $10? IF my shop gets all 8 of the normal covers, that'd be just under $22 at my LCS+ $10....and they don't carry incentive books...and i'm not interested in spending big money on it anyway. $32 pre pull discount actually. The book is 3.99. I'm imagining that there will also be at least one book for SDCC as well so at minimum we're looking at 11 covers.
  7. July is going to be an expensive month. “When Image Comics publish The Walking Dead #100 in July, they’ll be doing so with a bang. As well as Charlie Adlard doing a cover, a wraparound cover and seeing his work transformed into a Chromium cover, there will also be covers by fellow Image stable mates Frank Quitely, Todd McFarlane, Marc Silvestri, Bryan Hitch, Sean Phillips and Ryan Ottley. The comic is the fifth Image title to reach such lofty heights, after Spawn, Savage Dragon, Witchblade and The Darkness, and the only title not created by one of the original founders.” http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/04/13/quitely-mcfarlane-silvestri-hitch-phillips-ottley-draw-covers-for-walking-dead/ If each one of them do a cover we're looking at at least 8 (if Adlard's first STF promo is only in Chromium) Let's hope some of those are relegated to SDCC and not 1:250 variants.
  8. Has this been officially announced?? http://www.amazon.com/The-Walking-Dead-Road-Woodbury/dp/0312547749/ref=xs_gb_20_left-3_7_0312547749?pf_rd_p=451293501&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_i=20&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1G2V2K1JMJV6ZFKKDWNF
  9. I bought one for my brother and told him not to read it cause it might be worth something later on. He didn't listen On the bright side, he is a huge Walking Dead fan like his big bro. and WTF? I passed on a copy of the #1 Weekly and got the Arizona Comic Con Variant instead. Other than that one and a copy of #19 Weekly I don't own any others nor do I care to. With what WD books have been going off at lately on eBay I think I am going to list my #1 9.6 SS signed by Moore, #2 9.4 signed by Moore and #3 9.6 signed by Moore and Kirkman at somewhat high BIN prices to see what sort of offers I get in hopes of upgrading to better Universal copies and just getting those resigned and reslabbed Sig Series later this comic con season. Now seems to be the time to sell, maybe during the downtime between seasons we will see a little bit of a dip in prices. Let's hope so... I'm hoping to swap out my paltry 8.5 #1 for a 9.6 or 9.8 this summer.
