  1. Robbie Amell Joins THE FLASH As Firestorm Robbie Amell, former star of The Tomorrow People and cousin of Arrow lead Stephen Amell, has joined the cast of The Flash in the recurring role of Ronnie Raymond, otherwise known as Firestorm. He is currently set to debut in the third episode of the upcoming season. Raymond is said to be a S.T.A.R. Labs maintenance worker and Dr. Caitlin Snow’s fiancé, who played an integral part in the particle accelerator accident that transformed Barry Allen into The Flash. This is a slight deviation from his comic book counterpart, but we'll see how this plays out in the fall.
  2. This quote... while probably true... perplexes me a tad bit. The solo Marvel films made the anticipation level rise for me towards a group Avengers film. While I'm sure fan anticipation for Dawn of Justice will be high... all of Marvel's end credit scenes, cameos and interweaving of plotlines made me REALLY want to see Avengers None of this matters though... I will still be at theater opening weekend for this xxx ooo Rupp I think why that point is important is due to DC/Warner dropping the ball over the years. Where there should have been a creative roadmap piecing together the DC Universe across Batman Begings, Superman Returns and Green Lantern, each was released as a standalone production with no scheme tied to the bigger comic book world. Now that Warner finally realized from Marvel's success what they missed out on, it would take years to release each of those individual character movies building up to Justice League. So not a bad idea to just go for broke, and buildup the excitement within two movies ('Man of Steel' and then 'Batman v Superman'), and get things back on track. It is a bummer though the next movie is still two years away. That is a lot of viewership time lost. that would be true that WB drop the ball but that's because their old CEO didn't think their was profit in comic book movies. look what the new CEO has done in such a short of time with DCE/DC Comics we starting to see a side that is not scared bring characters into the big screen or small screen. WB/DC can do a different roadmap and not copy Marvel hell look at the original star wars movies we got three movies with multiple characters and we didn't need solo movies for them, same goes for Harry Potter & LOTR movies.
  3. this can open the door for them to bring in Adam Strange.
  4. Brandon Routh Joins ARROW Season 3 As 'The Atom' He's already played the Man Of Steel on the big screen in the fan-panned Superman Returns, and now TV Line report that Brandon Routh is set to play another DC Comics superhero, this time on the CW's Arrow. According to the site, Routh will appear in a recurring guest star capacity in the third season of the show as Ray Palmer, aka The Atom. They also offer the following: "An unparalleled scientist and inventor, Ray will play an unexpected role in the lives of Oliver and Felicity as the new owner of Queen Consolidated. Palmer’s plans for Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division will be shrouded in mystery." Word is Routh's deal will span 14 episodes, and that he will be a love interest for Felicity Smoak.
  5. in a few weeks i guess will find out if BvS & JL are filming back to back and what WB/DCE have plan for the future.
  6. i wonder how many of their new statues they going to be showing at SDCC and including new statues.
  7. so in the superman picture their are some Easter eggs some have found the bat sign in the background.
  8. I guess I can see the reasoning when so many reporters are trying to publish every detail they can dig up, including encouraging people to sneak onto sets and take pictures and videos. But would Warner go this far to throw them off the trail? that's what i'm wondering if it turns out to be true that they faked a -script and we get better information come SDCC about the movie and were it's going. then i gave WB for making sure everybody was misdirected.
  9. Interesting Did WB Leak A Fake BATMAN v SUPERMAN -script? Written By Kevin Smith? This isn't a scoop regarding the plot or the details of the Batman v Superman movie or am I writing you in order to spoil or disappoint the general public. My insider info regards a who has been the source of the vast majority of leaked information as regards to the movie and more importantly why. Up until last year I worked for as a PA for a Warner Bros. exec until I was promoted to marketing. It was here I and several others where approached to work, directly and indirectly, for Susanne Knoll and sometimes Deborah Snyder. It was here that I became a part of a particular strategy that Warner Bros has been using to great effect. Early this year a Screenplay for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which was commissioned by Warner Bros was leaked to several gossip sites. It was a scanned PDF of the entire screenplay baring a official Warner Bros watermark. This -script has been the source of almost every leaked detail about the movie for the last six months. It has been posted on sites then quickly removed due to cease and desist letters from Warner Bros. While the screenplay is legit and the watermark is legit and it is was commissioned by Charles Roven himself... But it is written by neither David S. Goyer or Chris Terrio. It was written by Kevin Smith. Late last year both Charles Roven and Zack Snyder approached Kevin Smith with a early treatment for the film and It was Kevin Smith who came up with the idea to write an entire screenplay based on it but with several huge red herrings and changes which do not appear in the final film. These include plot points and characters etc etc. and 'leak' it online. This -script was distributed by myself and others to gossip sites and movie sites like aintitcool, latino review, movie pilot, etc etc My job was to pose as a worker at Warner Bros who was leaking the screenplay. There were several others involved who posed as recently fired members of the production, interns and special effects artists and we all spread the misleading info around the web. None of this was done maliciously and was a strategy to misdirect much of sites that intended to spoil the film.
