  1. Pics or it didn't happen. http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=141108 Check them out
  2. Certainly didn't run out like I thought they were going to. $300 is a lot of coin for this. (It does look pretty bad azz though) Wonder how long it'll actually sit there before "selling out". I didn't buy one and don't plan to. Someone mentioned earlier in this thread but her having two swords is just odd.
  3. Best super hero comic out there! Severely under rated.
  4. I think it's the refinement of this comic that makes it stand out for me. The little things like the World Corp adverts and the detail in the artwork, detailed tattoo's, detailed graffiti in the background and just simple items in the background that don't need to be added but are. The science chronicle, the book excerpts and character bio's all add to the overall package. As I said, the refinement is excellent and really makes the comic stand out.
  5. I think that depends on how you look at it. Characters have different names and in at least one instance, a completely different appearance. There are major story differences. It's called the same thing, but that's about it. -e.s. Eric Stephenson Publisher Image Comics, Inc. www.imagecomics.com But Eric didn't you basically use the preview in invincible 19 in Nowhere Men #3? They are very similar pages and dialogue. Similarities between Invincible 19 preview and Nowhere Men #3 I'm not sure if you can read the dialogue but it is very similar.

  7. I mentioned this 2 pages in and no one took note.
  8. They seem to be direct copying (tracing) work that is already out there.
  9. What would a Thought Bubble CGC 9.8 go for?? Guesses?
  10. People thought the same with Telltales the walking dead but it went on to win loads of game of the year awards and was an outstanding game. Graphics matter but story is more important.
  11. Just playing devil's advocate. A lot of people said Saga RRP would never reach $250 and some even said it would only ever be worth $25 *cough* Branget *cough*
  12. That only proves the point. We're all SAGA fans, but to everyone else Batman > SAGA. And that vintage Pope Batman cover is $5K. Hence...$5K would be a stretch for the new Ghost variant cover. Also, while Pope has a higher profile than Staples, Staples is the co-creator of the book. So, for SAGA, Staples OA > Pope OA. Vintage? VINTAGE Pope Cover? What is wrong with modern comic collectors? THEY CALL 1998 VINTAGE. Jimmy we are old, todays 14 year old kids weren't even born in 1998
  13. Fair points, but remember this isnt a BigBloatedTwo release Image has published other flop books by Hickman. I can't remember the name but it started with T and has a similar cover to Manhattan Project. It blowed hard. When Hickmans on, he's amazing! But when hes off its like "why did we restart Fantastic Four? Why did we kill Johnny Storm, Again?" Red Wing???
  14. I'm surprised that a preview is getting that much interest.
  15. Still... It is the only #1 variant and is very limited in quantity.
  16. I don't. (long winded reason) last week at a local comic shop: female customer - Do you have volume 2 of Saga? male employee - That won't be out for a few months. customer - Hmm. So...do all these thin comics make up the volumes? employee - Yes, the issues make up the graphic novel. customer - Oh. I've never read comics before. What issues are in volume 1? employee - #1 - #6 employee then goes on to show customer second prints of #7, #8 and #9 While I like Nowhere Men a lot. I do not see the crossover success of Saga with this book. Well that was intriguing, if I only new what the point was
