It looks like CGC don't think they will be able to find where they put my books. My biggest ever vintage tier submission with books I'll probably never find again.I feel like quitting the hobby.
That really sucks! I’m right there with you also wanting to quit the hobby.

I'm going to assume that CGC has located the op's books ... based on the fact that he hasn't been on the forum since the day he started the thread (March 17). This assumption may be incorrect. Hard to say because he hasn't updated us ... which is pretty much par for the course with these kinds of threads.
It doesn't appear that @brentio or @Joe Fox have their books.
Correct, mine still haven’t shown up.

Hey Rich, I’m interested in getting some books signed and graded at Rhode Island comic con and LinCon.

Someone should start a Crain opp
Yes, someone should
From what I've heard he doesn't have a lot of free time outside of convention for sketches.

That is such a sweet book. Congratulations and happy birthday.
Thanks man. Are you not going to post yours yet?

Where's alphatrion1?
I want to see his top 5 out of the huge amount of sketches he has.

Clayton Crain
My first convention cgc graded sketch.
Tom Fowler

Ben Dewey
I was blown away with all the detail he put into this.

His rate for sketches done on blank covers in acrylic are $375.
That's the only one I know.

WOW!! I love that he uses the whole cover now.
Anybody have a contact for Crain that works I am trying to contact him to do a commission and wanted to know his rates turnaround times and etc. I had one email that I tried a few weeks back and heard nothing back from.
That's the only way I know and he's not super good about responding right away more like a few months later when you finally forget about it.

Not mine, but it's so awesome I have to post it. Plus the owner is not on the boards yet.

I'll let you guys know if he gets mine done by eccc. It better be!!

Does he do backgrounds on his commissions now?
-
I just paid him for a commission last month to be ready by eccc. Wish this was posted a while ago.

Does he charge $395 for commissions on blanks now?

Great request by the way, I have a couple of anti-venom's out (not by Crain) but Crain just nailed that one.
It's one of the random characters I really wanted to see him sketch out. I haven't seen a lot of anti-venom art out there.
-
Your anti-Venom is the first blank cover painting I've seen him do at a convention.
The conventions I go to he'll do a few at the convention and than do the rest in his hotel room and brings them the next day.

Living in the northwest makes it very easy to get sketches from him being that he lives in Washington so he's at most of the local conventions.
