  1. I skip the ones that don't have December cover dates. Seemed like that would be simpler.
  2. I realized that I'd never compete a run of some of my favorite DC titles that go back into the Golden Age, so I've set the goal of a complete run of a title published during my lifetime (April 1962). I recently got the last Action I needed - thanks, Chip! - so now I have complete 4/62-present runs of Action, Flash, Jimmy Olsen, Superboy, Superman, and World's Finest. I like this idea - I've been slowly trying to pick up a copy of everything published during the month I was born, but this gives me something to shoot for if I ever finish my birth month set. Not a bad set to look for. What month would that be? And you are going by cover dates? Dec of 77. Decided to go by cover dates, even though I know those weren't necessarily the ones on the stands that month.

  4. In case I'm the only one who is slow on the uptake, the Vader and Leia variants are for their respective series. I checked and doubled check the MCS listings for the main Star Wars series and only found the Luke and Han covers. Then the light slowly dawned.
  5. Anyone have an idea what the print run on that book was? It was selling for $100 when it came out. In fact, just to get one I think you had to pay a $75 entrance fee or something ridiculous. I don't recall the print run but it's very low compared to what they do monthly. Like a quarter or less. It has floated around on the web. Thanks!

  7. Voodoo Heart is his collection of short stories. I thought it was really well done.
  8. Received my first shipment from Paul today. Packaging was great and the books were as good or better than advertised. Would happily buy from him again.
  9. Been reading this since it started. Came home yesterday to find that it had blown up. My LCS had a stack yesterday. Went back today and every last issue was gone. Along with my dreams of speculator glory.
  10. I read the first issue, and decided to wait until I had a few more to plow through all at once. I liked the first enough to get Kindt's "Super Spy" out of the library, FWIW.
