  1. what comic speculator would hope a comic tv show would fail.

Maybe he is referring to the fickle crowd that built it up at release and then stopped purchasing when things didn't happen fast enough to suit their schedule?

    +1 This!

I say they should have read the book and realized how fricking awesome this universe is.

    I love it.

    Preach on, brother!

  2. Deaths are not announced in advance on TWD, so how can any amount of episodes leading to Daryl's death equate to massive ratings?

They can't just replace Daryl Dixon with another character/actor who is attractive and rugged, because Daryl's popularity is based on a lot more than that.

I agree with Awax that Daryl Dixon is too much of a cash cow for AMC & TWD right now, so offing him anytime soon wouldn't be a smart play.

  3. I wish i could dream as hard as these people....

and 5 watchers... i hope just to see if someone falls for this book.

At least the description is true........

I'm thinking of asking the seller if this price is for one copy or like 35 of them. lol

  4. I still love Revival. Love the art, characters, dialogue, plot, small town feel and general mystery of the whole thing.

I get the feeling that if there was a TV announcement and a higher price tag attached to #1, more people would be saying what a great book it is.

I can understand why speculators hate it, but don't get why people who enjoyed reading it at one point suddenly don't like it anymore. (shrug)

    +1

This book is faaaar better than that show on TV also.

I personally am still really digging this book and I cant say that about dozens of other titles that aren't even in the teens let alone 20s

    Same feeling here; I <3 REVIV:SUMO:L.

I'm pretty much caught up, except I haven't read the last issue, but the past few issues have been great and are moving the story along really well. I find it hard to believe that some peeps gave up on it, because it's such a cool story and a good read with awesome art. Yes, it's true that it has slowed down a bit at some points, but it picks up so well when it does and things have begun to come together nicely. It's normal for stories to slow down at some points, right?

I find that the plot and characters are interesting and with two strong female leads I'm surprised this book's print numbers have dropped so much as the series has progressed. Maybe the book just needs a bit more promotion from Image, its creators and us, the fans.

  5. Trejo WW Philly autograph prices are posted. $45 a pop. Plus the CGC SS fee, it's not cheap novelty for a "dead" book. Sometimes you gotta say WTF and do it

Yep. DT is a legend and whether Todd ever comes back or not, he is a legend...to me.

Yes, yes and yes - do it boys!

I'm stoked with mine - and lets face it - DT is not a young man.

But my goodness Danny did some awesome "stay in on a Saturday night with your mates and get hammered watching Machete..."

    Good Times.

    Long Live Danny Trejo!

Which issue to get SS'd? #1 because its #1, or #3 because it has the parody cover of Trejo and Bunker? It's a keeper and I'm leaning toward #3

    Send them both!

  6. Wow, a Five Ghosts HC collecting the first 12 issues is AWESOME!!! I wish Mooneyham would have done new art for the cover of this one, though, since this image was already used for the ECCC #1 and TPB Vol.
