I would say that is overthinking it a bit. They moved modern back to 1975 not based on any shift in the collection community but competitive pressure to their bottom line. +1 Just a move to help customers (which helps CGC)...

I haven't studied the numbers, but I very glad you are discussing this topic. Value. It's worthy of a CG thread. I often look at what is the best value for my money. Or, where does the entry price point really go insane. Example (not X-men 1) 5.0 brings $200 6.0 brings $300 7.0 brings $450 8.0 brings $625 9.0 brings $1100 In the above example you can see that 8.0 is the best "bang" for your buck because of the huge step up from there. Good topic. Sorry I didn't answer your question though (I'll look at the numbers)

I agree. Some very anti-climatic story arch's from Mr. Kirkman recently. I trust him tho and look forward to seeing where things go in both Invincible and tWD in the near future. I wonder if Invincible will see a 3 year fast forward jump next? That could be awesome. hm If he did it thought I'd want a recap issue to kind of broadly say what had happen during the fast forward. "During these years this this and this happened and now we are here." It'd be a great way to relaunch the series (again) for new readers.
