  1. Nice! Out of my three I probably got an 8.5, 9.2, and a 9.4-9.6 (maybe). I know to comic books stores it's all NM, but to collectors we dream of 9.8's .
  2. I got three of them in and they were JACKED. Spine stress, cover impressions, bends, etc.
  3. i dont know, but that is a great sale for Ryan! (a boardie) Thanks, buddy. It's not final yet (waiting on payment). Debating on offering up the other one...
  4. I think he himself will become "possessed" - like Anthony Hopkins in "The Rite"
  5. There was one in my LCS, but I left it for someone else (trying to spread the love and the word about the book). I've even given a few reader copies away
  6. Maybe CGC should just open a Canadian office...
  7. +1 Oh my, my. I'd guess $500 - $700 (leaning toward the higher end). The only prob is that it's not a key issue, BUT it's still a gem 10. Awesome dude!
  8. I was able to pick up three copies! I got two !!....they only had four copies and wouldn't let me buy them all...and they limited me to two copies of the new Justice League 12 I got five total, 3 @ Midtown and 2 from a boardie
  9. Sadly, on today's 'seller beware' eBay, you need tracking. I track every item. It's not worth it to "lose" it in the mail. Ryan
  10. I wanted to be the 2000th post, but I'll take 2001. See you at 10,000.
  11. I don't know if I can honestly believe that statement. A guy loves a comic book so much that he goes out and buys 10 copies to support it? Plus you're talking about $30 a month....for one comic....for the month. There are PLENTY of other good stories to read out there, and Revival isn't even the best one. I personally have enjoyed MTG and Secret more. Also, someone is going to spend $30 on 15 minutes of entertainment. That sounds like entertainment of the adult kind to me. I partially agree with both of you here. Comics are relatively cheap as hobbies go. My golfing buddies dump $150 sometimes on a single round. Revival is a great story and I would buy it even if I wasn't selling a few. But, it's not my favorite storyline right now. I'm really digging The Manhattan Projects and am also reading Saga, ToT, and TWD (of course).
  12. Sorry my Canadian friend. This was an oversight on my part. I will ship to Canada and will see if I can make an adjustment on the item. Thanks for the info for the future though! Ryan
  13. Welcome Dr. Hoarder. You are most welcome here!
  14. So true, true. 11.4 is my all time goal. that was a very competitive auction on that 9.9 someone must of been really happy... It's not over until Friday.
  15. So true, true. 11.4 is my all time goal.
  16. Hey guys. Thanks for the props on the books. I eyed these books hard before submitting and felt confident in 9.8, but was very pleased with the 9.9 grades. And just to be clear, these were not pressed (and no magic was used either - I'm still saving the magic for Christmas). Ryan
  17. I'm glad we are back on topic guys. I found these behind an old dumpster and was wondering if they are any good?
