I said $10 as a good minimum. People can donate anything they like, but I didn't want to ask too much of one Boardie. A lot of folks either donating $10 or offering at least a $10 comics or lot of comics can add up quickly into something. New Topic I'm thinking about having a small charity thread for a student of mine. She came to see me last week and she's had some tough circumstances: Husband left her because he got another woman pregnant. Left the mortgage with her and house with her. She works two-just-over-minimum wage jobs for 50 hours a week. Her mom was evicted and now lives with her, but does not help financially. She's a month behind on bills and has had to visit the local food bank. So, this is what I was thinking.... If I could get say 20 boardies to donate $10 worth of merchandise + my donation, we could send her a nice anonymous Walmart giftcard to help her out. This would work the same way other charity thread operate. Someone posts an item(s). Someone buys it. The money comes to me and I'll verify receipt with buyer and seller on thread. I'll keep a running total on the first post of all receipts and then go purchase giftcards to send her (I'll post a pic of the receipt). Everything will be transparent for everyone to see. Before I did this though I just wanted to kinda get some feedback from you, the boardies, to see if I can garner support or if there is an issue with the idea. And I am every thankful you did! It is sitting beautifully with my full run of one of the best books being printed today...Thanks again and glad you found another Sweet brother. I thought I had another but I went through ALL my boxes last night trying to consolidate and get my runs together. I'm missing 2-3 in my ToT run too (no biggy). My Saga run is straight. I'm glad you got that #2 though Didnt you sell me a run a while back Ryan? I think I did (a 1-7 + 0 I think). I use to have 3-4 copies of every issue, but I'm down to my run, which is getting the holes filled in soon thanks to Machinehd and Hekla Thanks guys

I sold my 9.8 recently and I was kinda looking for a raw first print at HeroesCon just to add to my otherwise complete (first print) run. I picked up an honest VF+ to VF/NM copy (had hard spine creases) and looked at the back for a price..... $175
