This is excellent. Kudos and cool points to you sir! If I had a boy, this would be my model. I have two girls and I teach them the ways of the the comic. My three year old can pick out Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-man, and Silver Surfer

@Comical I really don't see a problem with the way you ran your last MB sale other than Arch has reaffirmed (what I have learned) established rules on "lottery" style MB sales. You are a trustworthy member of the community and you do this the right way. The problem is the potential for people to do it the wrong way, which could be bad for the community. Hence, the current debate/discussion. I'm actually glad we are discussing this now instead of after a major scam artist came through and ripped a bunch of Boardies. You're a good guy and have a great weekend

No n00bs this month

I've done this with several books. Its fun while you're catching up but when you get to the current issue, we're all stuck in the same line. I'm actually glad I was late to the party. I think you have a difference experience if you read a large chunk of a series for the first time. You get the payoff instantly without having to wait month to month. You also remember the tiny details that I think would fade over time. The little fun "inside jokes" and Easter eggs that the authors and artists throw in there.

I was late to the game, but bought compendium one. Read it. Thought, "not bad." Got compendium two. Read it. Loved it! Immediately bought the next two trades and all the singles (I think 105/106 was out then). So, late to the party, but this is now my favorite series.

Saw DOFP last night (finally).... Excellent. I give it a 9/10 Non-Spoiler Review (I think): The sentinels were awesome. It was interesting that they felt and were feared like the sentinels in The Matrix. Additionally, the future scenes felt like scenes from The Matrix in the "real world." The movie did a great job addressing canon issues. I kept trying to logically explain to myself, "How does this work? How is this possible? Does this stay true to established story points of the past?" I'll say that I believe the DOFP team did a great job of making sure there were no gaps (that I could tell) for the fans to call BS on. There are a few story points that I could be skeptical on, but I'm happy the way things went and was entertained, so not a big deal. Fassbender does a terrific job (once again) as Magneto. McAvoy once again sells Xavier well. Loved the whole cast and the new additions. Loved seeing Patrick Stewart back again. Especially liked the Quicksilver sequences. Overall.... I'm going to go ahead and declare this is THE Marvel movie to see this year. Forward March to 2016!
