    I would like to hear from some of the veteran Boardies and get their thoughts on the situation. Does the buyer who stood to lose the most by the deceit wish to nominate the person for PL or HOS status? That would be the person to ask. I agree with Rupp CAHokie

    What happens when someone in a sales thread when they are on your "do not deal with" list. I've seen sellers say, "sorry, I don't sell to you," and refuse to sell the item publicly in a thread.

    I sold quadman 30K worth of books, a few days after he arrived. You couldn't ask for a better buyer to deal with. I have sold books to Quad as well and no problem at all with him, but maybe the seller doesn't know him the way we do.

    I'm just on the sidelines here and ran across the thread when I saw a lot of interests here. My A seller does have the right to refuse a sale if they don't feel comfortable with the conditions of the sale (conditions can change the dynamics of the deal). I agree with the seller that I personally would not feel comfortable sending a five figure book to a third party.
