  1. What about the 85 and 106 Infinity and Beyond? Or 75 Ultimate? Back in the day we called that "cold bust"
  2. and..... what do you think of it? I like it so far, but know it gets even better according to everyone telling me so. I can see how the early issues are laying the foundation for something bigger down the road. I think I need to read some tonight (craving it now). R
  3. Me too I bought an Invinci' one, but it's not as high a grade (raw) as I would like. Probably a 9.0 book.

  6. 1. Order 1000 TWD with your own cover. 2. Get it in the registry. 3. Shred 950 of them. 4. Make new friends Funny, but not a bad idea. Cherry pick the 9.8's, FT 'em,

  9. I feel you on this buddy. I own zero OA, so I can't really comment on that aspect of your quote, but with regards to value there are two kinds worth discussing. Intrinsic and market. I buy books for both reasons and I'm sure most of us here do. When I buy a book for my collection, it's because intrinsically I love the work, the art, the story, etc. Value is important, but not as important as the connection with the work. This is why collectors are fanatical about collecting (at least one reason). There is a connection with the item. I collect SA and moderns and there's nothing like holding that "it" book (or OA) and feeling the zen of the moment in a collectors life. You all know what I'm talking about. I love TWD too and would collect it if it was worth nothing (probably more of it - ). You invest years into a character and story until they are really a small part of your life. Kinda reminds me of Zelda when I was growing up. I actually lived in Hyrule (Ocarina of Time ruled). You can't put a price on nostalgia, on memories, on that connection. Of course, that last sentence is wrong because these things cost money, but the feeling is intangible. Longest post of the day, over.
  10. Katchoo: Are you instigating boardies? It's only Tuesday Name calling is counter-productive
  11. Is it seriously? 08/14/2013 Saga #13 Yep!
  12. That's a really sad note from Tony Moore. Does that mean he is done with comics for a while? Sad note...
  13. You know what I think... I love you both and think you would be great characters in an actual Todd comic story arc. Fo realz.
  14. $19,500 + shipping. I saw this yesterday on my phone and wondered if it did indeed sell (or was taken down). That's a lot of TWD goodness
