  1. None of this comes down to love/hate of e.s. or the NWM series. It comes down to consumers of a product and the expectations attached to the product. You can be "best-friends" with your housing contractor, but if he's late with no call/email/notice with some type of estimate for completion, you're going to be flustergated (my new word to go with hippocrate). You ordered a cheeseburger. The waiter goes away and never comes back. Once again... flustergation (derivative of the first new word). At least we can all hang around together and be friends while we flustergate together
  2. I agree that Ryan's art is better than Riley. I was die-hard Riley, but I'm over it.
  3. I wonder how many copies of books like YTLM were just given away by people years ago who thought it wasn't an instant success. Sometimes it takes years.... Many years to really see the true potential of (1) a story and (2) what the market values a book at long-term. Like Kenny Rogers said, "know when to hold'em and fold'em." I say, do both gents
  4. Thanks, Andy - I got a FF 55-57 (nice mids) this week and need 51, 52, and 54 to have a nice little 48-57 run (thumbs u
  5. Ask the other Ryan.... And Andy, we thought you would find this........ Amusing.
  6. So that means he's not invested in his own book? Because he has a day job? Do you realise how many other creators have to spend their evenings and week ends on their book(s) too? Kurtis did until recently. I'm not sure what your point is? The art probably is the issue because it often is. Obviously because Nate is lazy, can't be bothered and isn't invested in his own book. Katchoo, you still remain one of my favorite sparring partners. Ryan : the purple variant.... The one that doesn't exist according to e.s. - YES! That is a And yes, bad publicity is doing a lot for this thread. And yes, don't tell Andy
  7. E.s. said NWM is "something he does on nights and weekends." Don't ask for a source Katchoo, but it's there (someone can or will post it). NWM is his side gig, but my money would be wig BeerThirty in that I bet that art is the issue. Just a guess. Whatever, I'll keep reading regardless, but it's silly that issue six will probably come out after the trade was scheduled to come out.
  8. There are a million reasons why they can't or won't say anything about the delays just now. It amazes me how people are so quick to assume the worst of someone over such petty things. I thought assuming the worst was your job? and and <3
  9. If I were a creator, I would LOVE any attention given to my book. Just sayin'
  10. I haven't turned on him, but the phenomenon happens in anything. People love athletes until they stop performing, or pull an OJ or A-Rod. People love movie stars, until they start making bad movies or go on a bender, or pull a Joaquin Phoenix. People love musicians, until they pull a Michael Jackson. It doesn't take much for people to fall out of love and move on to the next thing Wonder how Joaquin is doing these days? He didn't do any of those things though. A book he writes is late Re-read Cited as examples
  11. I know that's why, and that's fine. It shouldn't affect his work (or output) on the series though...

  13. That's the plan. Close to the half-way point. (Thumbs u
  14. If I recall....... The weather was the issue. No doubt.
