  5. Has anyone seen a double cover where the two covers are different? I recently found this Spider-Man #98 where the outside cover is the "variant" cover and the inside cover is the regular cover. upload a gif image hosting 5mb upload a gif
  6. Great, now I've got even more books to look for that will drive me crazy
  7. I've always been partial to this cover from the AH run on Catwoman. free pic
  8. I have some more to add to the list. Also, you will need to make a distinction for Supergirl, since I have instances of DC Universe UPCs for both the 1994 mini series and the 1996 ongoing series. Here are the issues to add to your list with pictures below. I also added my copy of Green Lantern 36. 9. Pics! I picked up one of the JL Annual 5 2nd Prints as well. I saw that silver cover and the roman numeral and had to have it photo storage
  10. Harley and Livewire together in Batman Animated Series image hosting free
  11. I'm a fan of Linsner's work as well and was able to pick up this book at Megacon out of a dollar box. I wasn't even sure what I had until I got back home but the cover really caught my eye. I have not read either of the series but his artwork really is stunning. free image hosting
  12. There are later newsstand prints for Superman #75. Here is my 3rd print. If I remember correctly there is also a 4th print newsstand version.
  13. I think it's well established by the most serious folks in this field that, while a 3rd printing of #499 exists...a second does not. Interesting, huh? My bad, I wasn't sure how a 3rd print could occur if there wasn't a 2nd print. Does anyone know of another instance where this happens?
  14. Adventures of Superman #498 also had a 3rd and a 4th Adventures of Superman #499 had a 2nd and a 3rd Justice League #70 also had a 4th
  15. There must be something to the Tampa connection. I just found this copy at the Tampa show, at the booth right next to David's (who I bought some great books from by the way). Sending it in to get graded real soon.
  16. After reading this thread I saw this one and just had to pick it up. I remember back in grade school wanting to make my own comic book and I'm pretty sure this is how it would have turned out. I love the questionnaire too, classic. It even came with a self-addressed stamped envelope. prntscr image ru
  17. I recently saw a Craigslist posting from a local antique store that said they had some comic books for sale for $2 each and since I had some spare time I went to check it out. Most of the books were Copper and Modern drek but they did have some cool Copper Sgt. Rock books and a nice copy of Infinity Gauntlet #1. I went up to the counter to pay and they said they had some older books behind the counter if I was interested. It was a nice selection of Silver Age books but most were in low grade condition with high grade prices. That is until I spotted this book, my jaw dropped and I paid as fast as I could and practically ran out of the store. Sometimes Craigslist postings do pan out.
  18. I've always loved the DC Whitman's, brings back great memories when I was a kid. Below is my latest acquisition and it took me a while to find it. Gotta love Sgt. Rock.
  19. Here is a scan of the advert from Maxx #4 for anyone interested. Below that is my copy of the Maxx #3 Blue Ashcan (#29/500). For the life of me I can't remember where I got it but it must have been at a convention. I'm pretty sure it was in a 3/$1 or $0.50 box.
  20. I picked up 5 copies each of the Batman and Robin #15 and Detective #15 Newsstand at Books-A-Million. Both are also available at Barnes & Noble near me. The Nightwing #14 was still on the shelves when I looked yesterday so I will be checking back later this week for Nightwing #15.
  21. I have been lurking on the boards for a while now and I really enjoy this thread. I try to hit flea markets/garage sales/book stores as often as I can to look for treasures. I have had some success recently. Got the New Mutants and Miracleman books at a local flea market for $20 combined. Got the last issue of Savage Sword of Conan for $5 at a Half-Price Books store...and the search continues
  22. Purchased Amazing Spider-Man #303 Shan Lon variant from me. Payment was super fast and communication was great.
