Getting a little better with the fine tuning. HP 8250:

I agree. I was dissappointed by all 4 grades to be honest, but I was especially shocked at the 8.0 on the Conan #1. I've seen graded 9.4's that look much worse. I struggle to find a flaw on the book in hand. I'm not going to lie, it's made me feel a bit gunshy about sending in any more books. Could be a stain or light foxing. Perhaps I'll bite the bullet and pay for the graders notes.

Ryan, what settings are you using for Sharpness and Resolution? I think the default is Medium and 200 DPI. Did you leave them alone or adjust them at all?

The 24 is sweet should of got 9.6 or better did you get them pressed? Thanks. No, they have not been pressed and I agree the 24 seems undergraded. If you want to see a real head scratcher take a look in the Just Back from CGC thread in Comics General at the Conan #1.
