    Actually junkdraw the one your thinking of is the badge without the silver leafs i think. This one having it makes it the combat infantry badge witch you can only get by being under fire.

    I believe the one on the top is called a rifleman badge witch means who ever wore them saw frontline combat.

    They don't come in clear form, but come in the CGC colors, blue universal, yellow signature series, purple restored, and black because its cool, I use it for keys. They also sell UV protectors, but they don't fit well and get annoying.
