  1. I really enjoyed this time period in comics. TMNT, Space Beaver, Usagi Yojimbo, or similar.... I loved them, I could hardly wait from them to come in the mail to me.
  2. Then I have a question, I bought a comic from someone here that has over 14,000 that was in Sept. He sent the cgc comic broken, I sent it back he said he would have it fixed and sent back. I have sent him a pm and he has not responded and has posted since I sent the pm. Should I nominate him for the list? This all started back in Sept. Yes (thumbs u To the OP, did the seller state he was going to get the book reholdered and return it to you? Is that what you mean when you say "fixed"? If this is the case, given the backlog at CGC, is it reasonable for him to be able to have accomplished this already? The non-communication bit is worrying, but is he in the hurricane affected area of the U.S.? He said he was going bring it to them and then send it back to me. He didn't mention anything about how long it would take to get reholdered. I would have appreciated the communication back to me. I'd have a clearer opinion on the communication "failure" if you referenced some timeline other than when you bought the book & how long your PM has gone "unanswered". I'm not making a case for people failing to communicate BUT when did the guy get the book back? When did you PM him asking for a timeline? The only timeline you're giving is a sale in September & the unanswered PM could have been sent hours or weeks ago by you, which is it? btw - I read somewhere on here that re-holders still take 15 business days I sent him the book after I returned from FL last month. He did indicate that he received the comic. I asked him for an update a week ago. I read on here yesterday it takes 15 business days, which I would not have had a problem with if he would have told me that. Also, he currently has a fs tread going right now. So no matter if I sent him a pm a week ago, yesterday, or whenever, he could have responded to it.

  5. At that time I worked part time at a comic store along with my full time job and I was the comic buying guy for them. They had 13 or so stores, I bought 2 ASM #1's from them. Ahhh the days! I also bought the Valiants for cover minus my discount for working at the store. Seems like I just handed them my pay check every other week.
  6. My question is, do people really look at this list? I know of at least 1 person was on that list that has bought and sold on these boards while on the list.
  7. Arrow would seem to be the perfect vehicle for that. She's got a better Catwoman outfit than Hathaway did. But Hathaway fills it out better!
  8. I just recently bought a raw comic from Mike and it came exactly as described and packaging was excellent! Mike is a class act and great to deal with. thanks
  9. I just finished last nights episode and I am really enjoying this show more than I thought I would. I never watched Smallville, but for now I will keep watching it.
  10. I bought a comic from Brian and it was perfect! Packaging was outstanding! Communication was excellent! Thanks for the comic!
  11. I have never really watched smallville so I have no opinion on that. Last night was the first time I have ever heard of Supernatural and I didn't watch it.
  12. I agree. I would have to see a few more episodes to give it a thumbs down or thumbs up. Too much Jason Statham stuff in there.
  13. I think it looks pretty good, I will be watching next week. Thanks for posting those videos.
  14. Where are the comics? He sold them all to me for pennies on the dollars!
  15. Good grief!!!! But just think what fun it would be to go through those!
  16. You WILL be alone. Upon retirement, you will take the Long Walk... which every Judge takes, outside these city walls, into the Cursed Earth. There you will remain for the last of your days, alone and carrying the Law. Class dismissed.
  17. I picked up a X-Men #3 1st Blob for an incredible price on Saturday. Not in great shape but for the price I paid, I couldn't pass it up. Great comics! FF 1, SC 22, Hulk 3, and all of those TTA's got to love those!
