  1. I have #1, but I do not have many of the other issues. I know both of my lcs's have almost all of the other issues for cover price.
  2. I picked up a Darkhawk 1 CGC 9.6 for $30 shipped.
  3. Oh I don't care, I just didn't mean to start a little board fight. I like the report, I don't expect it to be perfect. I just figured discussing it after was normal It wasn't the report that started it. I wonder when I will receive my strike........ They wiped my posts...........
  4. Yeah but that buyers premium...............OUCH!
  5. I don't think you will get anywhere close to that amount. Isnt that why he said best offer? You probably aren't going to get to many offers if your BIN is totally unrealistic. Perhaps it is just me but I don't approach a BIN listing with the idea that I can buy the item for a 1/5 of the listed price. I think it works better if you have it listed at a not totally unrealistic price and then allow for best offers to indicate you allow for some wiggle room on the price. 1-3 went for $80 during the weekend. And any run listed now is not NM. what happened with this title? i bought the first 4 and thought it was terrible. guess i need to dig them out. At my lcs I can get most of these for cover price still. I do not think they have #1 anymore, but I am sure they have the rest.
  6. This makes more sense to me. There probably is no downside. What noobs like myself that throw up the and completed the deals before our 90's are done? Although I do not have much on my kudos thread, but I really do not think people read those. It doesn't rally matter, some people will still be dickensians even after the 90 days. How about when you start a sales thread you require more information about that individual? Like their ebay id if applicable, or other forums the have/are members of or similar.....
  7. Maybe my coworkers are correct I do need help. But sir and I use the term loosely, I do not have a vindictive bone in my body.
  8. So what you are saying is that it's alright for larry to be unprofessional and no one else? I am glad that he is raising awareness for indy books and artists, but that does not give him a free pass to be a huge dickensian. I am not saying Tommy did nothing wrong, we did not see what if anything happened in the store. He was just voicing his displeasure with that store here. I didn't really see anything wrong with Tommy's post, he said how he felt, but then larry posts and I said what I felt at the time and still feel that way.
  9. Dude, if what is indeed what you are going to do, that is truly a dickensian move..
  10. I just sold a 9.8 ASM 700 for $91.00 the other day. That qualifies as heat right? ASM 700 Yes. Some are still very interested in following Ock/Spidey to its conclusion. Late bloomers are still hunting variants and still paying good money. I think I have 3 variants and I can still pick up regular issue of 700 for cover at my lcs.
  11. It was a pretty good episode. The pull up thing that Ollie was doing would take a ton of strength.
  12. I did pick this up yesterday, my lcs has a lot of them. I have not had a chance to read it yet.
  13. was hoping that one thread could be here in the discussion section, vs in an actual sales thread.... Maybe, but so far he has done nothing worth nominating him for, according to the rulez.
  14. I just finished watching Wednesdays episode. I really enjoyed it! I liked the flash backs and the Huntress coming back.
  15. Sold some books to Anthony, communication was excellent and fast payment! It was a pleasure to work with Anthony. Thanks
  16. One of my lcs that I go to, I can usually find back issues from years ago still at cover price. All they deal in is new stuff. Then every so often they have a 50-75% off sale of all of their back stock.
  17. I know this is probably not the place to put this, but I thought it might get the most attention if I post it here. On gohasting.com the Walking Dead Governor Special Hastings Exclusive Variant is up for sale at $4.99 if anyone is interested.
  18. in thru the nose, out thru the mouth. In thru the nose, out thru the mouth.....
  19. i agree with that, i was said to be all doom and gloom for stating that its overvalued. I am impressed with what a good discourse we have had, with everyone sharing there thoughts in a well articulated manner. As to, "who knows if it will sustain", that was kind of the crux of the whole discussion. I said it will not, others think it will. I just wanted to hear the other perspective. See if people can make a buyer out of me. For what its worth, if you guys want something positive in the form of outlook or perspective from me on NWM, I will say this (and agree with some others who have said it). Thought Bubble is the book to own on this title. It launched in the UK, is far more dispersed, sold plenty before the mania started, was the first 500 variant released, has quality issues. When all the dust settles, whether NWM sustains or tumbles, Thought Bubble will be the top dog. These oranges and blues will be more common, common in higher grade, and far more in the hands of flippers looking to sell. If I were buying NWM, and a long term believer, I'd be hoovering up Thought Bubbles as fast as I could while the Eye of Sauron is upon the Blue's and Orange's. I'd also be snarfing up any #1s I could find for cheap. Especially ones people think are 9.4s/9.6s, cause its a white cover, and decent stock. Press press away those cheap 9.8s and hold. My investor side 2 cents, with some positivity So you would not want my NWM #1 1st print?
  20. I would think it would be, but I love those comics. IMO it all depends on an attachment to IM 55 and ASM 50. I would gladly take another one of either of those. But there is an appeal of having a comic that only has a print run of 500.
