  1. This is one of my favorite shows, but I have to agree with the earlier statement that calls out the writing as weak. "Damsel in distress" should be the title of episode 3. Bo-Katan saves the day certainly follows the Disney model of entertaining. Grogu can't get which wire to plug in (red) but suddenly he can fly a N1 Naboo Starfighter Hopefully it gets better.
  2. 1) Batman Son of the Demon 2) The Killing Joke 3) Gotham by Gaslight 4) Batman Full Circle 5) Batman in Noir Alley Honorable mentions The Twilight Zone Now Comics Adams and Ellison. Donatello TMNT one shot Even with reading all of these multiple times and owning way too many copies I agree with God Loves Man Kills. Claremont is a freaking genius.

  8. I did not want to air my dirty laundry here but two emails I sent to service@CGCcomics.com came back as undeliverable. My last couple of submissions have not been good. I did not notice on several books I forwarded to Mycomicshop that the CGC holders although brand new were scuffed. My Comic Shop notes this in the description. Since I did not see it, I let it go but the sales prices of the books were disappointing. I can't help but think the scuffed cases had something to do with the poor sales. Yesterday, I sent this to CGC, "I was looking at my newly returned submissions and two of the cases have cracks in them. I was wondering what my options are? Can I get a refund or do they have to be returned to you. This is not the first time I have received damaged cases. The two damaged cases are for #4173443006 and #4173443004." Out of six books 2 were damaged. I noticed CGC changed the bags to a thicker material which I applaud but this didn't happen in transit.
  9. Unfortunately, as a seller on eBay, I have had multiple experiences with lost USPS mail. You should be fine with the fact you are dealing with registered and insured mail. Three out of three times, I collected the insured amount allowed in Priority mail. Three completely different items: $100 porcelain statue broken in pieces, a $1200 saxophone that went completely missing and a lost $70 vintage carved wood duck call whistle. All three I did the online submission form with USPS. I provided pictures, proof of value and tracking information. All three times I refunded the buyer and received a check in the mail from USPS. Both times items I sold that were lost and not insured, I did not collect from USPS even though I provided the same amount of evidence. First class and media mail suck and I won't use them unless it's for an item valued below $10. I have learned to do the following for high value items: I take pictures of packing the item and a picture of it boxed with the shipping label. I make sure I can practically take a baseball bat to the package and I hand deliver the package to an agent for a receipt. I will add insurance when necessary and require signature on delivery. The items proof of value is usually easy: sales price (invoice). All that being said, it's a relatively simple process and easy to check the progress of the investigation online. Each time payment was in a timely manner.
  10. Personally 2022 was a bad year for me, so my purchases reflect that. I bought a lot of books (3 long boxes) very few of which were modern. For the first time I started a purchase log to keep track of my careless spending (just ask my wife) and it's worked out well. Curiously enough it was the best year for submitting books to CGC. 2 Comiclink and 1 Heritage buys:
  11. Per PM I will take Batman 240. Thank you!
  12. X-MEN #43 7.0 $100 PAPER LOSS BOTTOM AND TOP CORNERS SPINE AREAat 25% off
  13. I would do Amazing Spiderman 47 (awesome Kraven cover) in 9.0 or better or Amazing Spiderman 51 in 7.0 or better. Both of these will continue to rise in value. I agree with the SA Fantastic Four suggestions. DC silver age is much harder to find in high grade. It would be my first choice: Batman or Justice League. I'd buy a beater JLA #1, mid-grade 21 or VF copy of 22.
