  1. Nice pickup edowens71! I only have one issue of Crazy in my stash, but I enjoy the horror flavored satire on most of their covers. The scan doesn't do my copy justice, because the black inks on the cover are much richer in person
  2. That's a fantastic score of an absolutely impossible book! Well done!
  3. I always liked this cover and this is a nice copy. With the action going to the left, it was a good choice to put the story panels at the bottom. I have to agree, even if I'm kinda used to seeing them on the left side. ..... this is one of my favorite covers from Atlas..... the Everett story is kinda cool too..... GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u Awesome book Mike! That looks like a real stellar copy for the assigned grade. Congratulations
  4. ...your House Ad is served GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u Very cool, thanks for that! I wonder if the covers match up with every book that was out that month? Like how they plugged JIUW too! That's an awesome house ad inside of an awesome book! Congratulations on the wonderful score!!!!
  5. Here's another recent arrival. Figured it would be an appropriate last post before I go to bed....
  6. Posted in the recent pre code thread, but this book belongs in this thread as well Just got this beauty back from CGC
  7. That is a cool cover (thumbs u Man, that guy almost bowled a perfect game until that last set. He should have quit while he was a head! Great book! Thanks everyone for the kind words (thumbs u Been looking for a decent copy for quite a while, so I was pumped when this one made the grade I was hoping for. Also, I knew I could count on Jay for the perfect pun It almost seems like the Undead thread should get going again with some more word play!
  8. Bravo and congratulations!!! Absolutely stunning
  9. That's a very nice looking post-code Atlas that really doesn't pop up at all (in any grade). Congratulations!
  10. PS: Just noticed Supernerds hand reflection on the slab makes it look like he's holding the shotgun too. Eerie! Haha! Thanks Jayman I noticed the same thing when I posted the pic. It is a bit surreal, and that was definitely one of those "happy" mistakes. Apparently, I just wanted to make sure they were aiming the shotgun properly....
  11. Not really a recent purchase, but I just received some books back from the slab factory. Felt like some of the results were a bit more strict than previous submissions, but overall, I'm still very happy
  12. The Shocking Mystery #51 was the last one I needed to complete the run. I have neglected taking group shots of books for a while but I have that one: I got a cheap fair copy and then got a decent upgrade shortly afterwards. I also got a nice scan of a killer copy and put it on a t-shirt! I need it's sister book - the Suspense Comics #9. I'll spend the $ for that one of these days. Do you mean the GAG #6, with Toni swimming? That's the only one I need! I think the other shark cover is the Criminals on the Run #4. Killer covers on those last 2 books too! (thumbs u Awesome LB Cole run, and great group shot! Especially love the #50 & 51! Congratulations
  13. One of my favorite covers from the run. Congratulations!
  14. Such a fantastic accomplishment One beauty after another! Congratulations!!!
