Let's go ahead and start off with the grail. This book is a ghost and has been on a list of many a Wolverine collector over the years. This is my extra copy, and if I weren't raising money for another project ATM, this would have also stayed in the vault. I've spoken to Billy Tucci about these at various conventions over the years. He said that each of his Shi Antiquities edition comics were hand signed and numbered. Each cover was burned in his backyard and stapled to the actual comic. That is why you see different and unique burn patterns on each copy. Interestingly enough, some copies have 3 staples, while some only have 2. The Return of All Wolverine, All the Time Grail & Keys Edition It's back!!! But this time, I'm clawing out the fluff and keeping this thread short and sweet. To me, this is absurd. Three thoughts... 1) This is an incredible violation of privacy. 2) Once the book leaves their hands, CGC's chain of custody is broken, and they can't correctly or accurately identify who the owner is. 3) Given the lack of trust and all their recent (and not so recent) shenanigans... I wouldn't put it past CGC as something they would try to pull.

Usually in these cases, the simplest explanation is the most likely explanation. I can think of two possibilities. 1) These packs are created and packaged up by the same parent company and an error was made that put a Warhammer book inside. or 2) Your pack was previously opened at the store by someone hunting for the rare variants. A store employee then took the stacks of opened books and rewrapped them, mixing Marvel and DC books. How did your pack look? Was the outer plastic ripped or torn? Did it seem like the original packaging? Without more info, I lean towards #2, as I tend to see loose books scattered all over my Walmart from dishonest people.

That's a real good pickup! I've owned 4 copies of this book over the years and have sold three of them. Each copy I had seems to originate in the Chicagoland or Midwest area. Looking forward to seeing an in depth comparison between all your copies.
