What movie news? I passed on a Hulk 228 for $9 two days ago because I didn’t see it sell for more than $30 in advertised VF/Nm high grades There are rumors of Rogue and Moonstone in Captain Marvel 2 currently. Rogue seems to be the stronger case currently and she has a bigger history, but Moonstone in the last few years has been in Ms Marvel books alot. At one point I was selling Hulk 228 for around $80-100 in NM a few years go. I would have bought the copy if it 7.0 or better because I buy only cheap. So . . . Avengers #12 (1999) would be be Moonstone's First MA Appearance then. (Why not? They broke them out for heroes first appearing in the SA and BA, examples for the CA anyone?)

There are some great covers with that banner, such as Deadpool #1 (2013?), many Superior Spider-Man, Superior Foes of Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Uncanny X-Men. No doubt - I remember being pissed off when they first started putting UPCs on the FC . . . when it could have been easily put on the BC. But I guess the fact that they "sold" the BC to advertisers prevented that.

Just curious, when did Marvel adopt that stoopid Red Banner on the bottom of the FC? I don't think I own a SINGLE book of that flavor . . .

A seriously undervalued book.The series on the whole has numerous spotlight covers and some great stories. I would recommend picking these up in bulk high grade whenever you find them. The same goes for any HG Batman ltd.s and one-shots.

I love everything about Dark Horse Comics - severely underrated on the whole.

My guess is the actual book that should be in that slab was a 9.8. After that all bets are off. Why that's a "pushme-pullyou" . . . "Never seen anything like it in my life!"
