  1. Dan DeCarlo is rolling over in his grave . . . that is the worst B&V cover art I have ever seen.
  2. Agreed for the most part. The dirt will clean up nicely, but the ink transfer will not. Also, it's a terrible miscut top to bottom and L to R at the bottom. That said . . .
  3. Sold my West Coast Avengers copies on the first ramp-up.
  4. Not "rare," but significantly less common in HG. Nothing produced by mainstream comic publishers during the eighties is "rare."
  5. And your point is? Did you forget what thread you were posting in?
  6. 1st Razor Fist MOKF #29 is starting to heat up on movie rumors.
  7. whatever the market will bear . . . long term, I see this book skyrocketing
  8. I actually prefer the regular edition, regardless of any print limits - it's a more attractive cover.
  9. And let's not forget pre-1980 Direct editions, e.g. the whole diamond price block, etc., before they figured out the bar code distinction.
  10. those are very nice . . . great acquisition or find.
  11. I miss Mike (Turner that is) You mean Michael?
  12. Is it now the norm to always press? YES. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.
  13. Wow, and here I thought you were finally doing a mea culpa!
  14. Somewhat anecdotal but nonetheless you may find interesting. Aside from a few remnants of my tomato box O O collection, my collection today consists of 4 or 5 private collections leaning more towards the CA/MA. Each of these were compiled by collectors who shopped primarily at comic shops and not newsstand retailers and are representative of their buying habits, with only occasional newsstand purchases (probably when traveling.) I believe that this may be reflective of most CA (and later) collections, whereas full or partial newsstand collections are much fewer in number due to local geography or inconsistent buying habits.
  15. The ridiculous thread which could never stay on-topic has been locked . . . no ad hominem attacks or posturing here please. Just show us what you have! Cheers!
