  1. Fair enough, just wondering where the line was drawn in your mind as to what 'real' variants are. My line falls somewhere else.
  2. This probably sounds snarky, and I don't intend it to be, but what does that mean? This is published and printed by Image and approved by the creators, seems official enough to me.
  3. I could kick myself when it comes to the Seeley art for Afterlife with Archie. The first cover... was sold on eBay as "Bowtie "R" Tim Seeley Original Art Page" for a benefit for a comic artist before Afterlife with Archie was really a thing. Ended at $25.01. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bowtie-R-Tim-Seeley-Original-Art-Page-Sketch-Gregory-Auction-/310694074741?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4856cf5975 The other covers (including one that wasn't used)... Tim sold those for a VERY (ridiculously!) cheap price at a convention. The buyer listed them on eBay for a huge markup. Then the auction was pulled.
  4. Don't hold your breath, #12 hasn't even been solicited yet, has it? Not seeing it listed anywhere.
  5. It's REVIVAL DAY! Some retailers got special promo packs with signed posters, Revival toe tags, and more. In Stock Trades has 50% off Revival Trades and Hardcovers. Here is a podcast from Village Comics... http://www.spreaker.com/user/villagecomics/village-comics-revival-day-1-2-14?autoplay=1
  6. Mike Renegar had something to do with the creation. He worked at Palisades, then had his own G.I. Joe store for a bit. I either have or had (don't remember if I sold them when I started disassembling my Joe collection) both the regular and the foil. Will have to do some digging to see if they are still there. I do have the DF lithograph of the cover, as well as the full size poster, ran across those by accident a few days ago.
  7. REVIVAL 19 Cover and solicitation for March...
  8. Somehow, Amazon has a double listing for the REVIVAL hardcover. Not sure why, but that could be the issue. One is under ISBN 1607068176 which I don't think is correct. That shows it being a preorder. The other is under ISBN 1607068141. That one shows as in stock for $21.65 with 7 left and more on the way.
  9. Jenny Frison was named on of the Best Comic Book Cover Artists of 2013 by Comics Alliance... http://comicsalliance.com/best-comic-book-cover-artists-2013-part-two/
  10. Issue 18 Cover... Solicitation.... TPB 3 Solicited Cover (not sure that's the final image)... Solicitiation... 11. Tim said the Revival 11 Phantom cover was unused, so it's not out there, just extra art in the Hardcover.
  12. Yeah, it's just shown in the deluxe hardcover, don't think it actually exists... but haven't really done any digging on it, I'll send an email and find out.
  13. Anybody else check out the Deluxe Hardcover and wonder where we could find the Phantom Variant for issue 11, or just me?
  14. Deluxe Hardcover is out this week. https://www.imagecomics.com/comics/releases/revival-vol.-1-deluxe-collection-hc Solicitation and cover for issue 17 in January, possibly spoilery...
  15. Yes, Diamond had mention of it... I'd rather keep the same art team and have it come out a little slower.
  16. I ordered the collector cover bundle on the 9th and it arrived yesterday. Also placed an order on the 15th with another copy of the 23 collector cover (with the choose 10 + a six issue subscription). I had picked up the first two trades of the series at Wizard World Chicago, now I'm almost caught up and good for another six issues.
  17. This is both good and bad as a reader, but I'll take the schedule change over fill in artists and rush jobs... http://www.previewsworld.com/Home/1/1/71/977?articleID=140451
  18. The Archie store has the Francavilla Life with Archie #23 cover available in a couple bundles... http://archiecomics.stores.yahoo.net/archieweddings.html
  19. Yes, the Pop's version was the one they had for sale, the help wanted one was supposedly for people dressed as zombified versions of Archie characters. http://afterlifewitharchie.com/2013/09/19/dress-as-an-archie-zombie-at-nycc-for-a-chance-to-win-prizes/
  20. Coming in December.... REVIVAL #16 story TIM SEELEY art MIKE NORTON cover JENNY FRISON DECEMBER 18 32 PAGES / FC / M $2.99 Dana and her ex, Derrick, investigate Em murderer suspect Aaron, but they aren’t the only ones. 21. Steven Lang? Here's some of the suggestions (with picks from Tim and Mike) from when I ran a contest... http://hackslashinc.com/1/2012/11/revival-tv-casting-contest-suggestions-and-winner/ I get more visits for that page than anything due to a mention of Zachary Alexander Rice. Weird.
  22. October, will be in the PREVIEWS later this month (and it was either missed or held back when CBR posted the Image solicitations this month).
  23. http://hackslashinc.com/1/tpb-guide/ Omnibus 1 - Collects: Hack/Slash (Euthanized), Girls Gone Dead, Comic Book Carnage, Hack/Slash vs Evil Ernie, Land of Lost Toys 1-3, Trailers, “Slashing through the Snow”, Slice Hard Prequel, Slice Hard, and Hack/Slash vs. Chucky Omnibus 2 - Collects: Hack/Slash 1-11 (DDP), Annual 1 featuring the Suicide Girls, portions of 12 and 13, and 14-17. Omnibus 3 - Collects: Hack/Slash 18-32 (DDP), Entry Wound, Hackoween, and The Living Corpse Annual 1. Omnibus 4 - Collects: Hack/Slash 1-11 (Image Comics), Annual #2: Murder Messiah, Annual #3: Hatchet/Slash, Hack/Slash meets Zombies vs. Cheerleaders, Hack/Slash 2011 Holiday Special (never before in print). Omnibus 5 - Collects: Hack/Slash 12-25 (Image Comics) and Mercy Sparx: A Slice of Hell Omnibus 1 is sort of a mix, even when I was reading the books as they came out I wasn't totally hooked. The Hack/Slash vs Chucky book kind of tied it back together and I started liking it more, then got really hooked with the DDP series (Omnibus 2-3).
  24. HACK/SLASH vs REVIVAL? From the CBLDF LIBERTY ANNUAL 2013
  25. From the October Image Comics Solicitations (at Comic Book Resources)...
