    Plus you've got sheer numbers on your side, when I bought this book, god, almost 9 years ago. It was the nicest in the CS. And I did just get it graded last month, so who knows what minute dimple it could have received in the 8 plus years. Also I didn't want to open it too wide to inspect so I may have missed something inside.

    I agree, I'm still stuck on how much the problems on spawns red cape jumped out.

    I sent in some streetfighter books in, they had thick chromium covers, all appeared perfect, I sent in three. All came back 9.8, I may have to get the notes to see what they found.

    I'm going to agree that it's a 9.8. In the photos it really does stand out, the red really seems to make the rubbing look worse than I'm sure it is. Edit: I went back and looked again, the lower left hand corner on your 9.9 is downright fugly, I'm even more confused now @___@

    I have passed on so many modern books, and or not sent them in because I assumed the color breaking spine rub would be graded harshly. Being uninformed sucks.

    It's amazing that this one picture explains 90% of modern book damage. X-Force books must have been packed in sandpaper. Good luck on your quest, I'd love to see a 9.9
