FORBIDDEN PLANET SHIPPING BOX...... [/img] OUCH. That's why I' m boycotting them a until someone posts better results... someday Yup thats about how mine looked also. Then they stuffed three to four in a sleeve. Man now I'm starting to worry about my shipment......... And it's going to Canada too...... (Double whammy) Mine made it safe a few weeks ago in a cardboard mailer. The odds were against it, but they all made it here NM/NM- or better for all 5 copies. I seriously doubt that if I order the same amount 10 times only 2 or 3 would make it safely. I dont recommend them for international shipping. A shame too, you know how much more business they could have brought in if they pulled off the Bedlam international deliveries well? They had a chance to showcase their store worldwide and looks like their packing has blown it for them. They packed 5 copies in plastic and then shoved them into a small cardboard mailer. those copies got bent when they forced them into the mailer. the other 4 copies they sent were great. for some reason they decided to pack those 4 copies into two cardboard mailers with 2 each.

I think if you use google correct you will find this thread and they read all about the covers, print runs, and other bs in this thread.

Well IF they are not a comic book person and is able to go on eBay then I am sure they also go on google. IF they are too lazy to google then they can buy or bid on the complete collections like chew, walking dead, or saga.

JUST MY Some one was crying and saying as a consumer they would be confused when they walk into a comic shop and see 6 covers of the same book. Dunno where he shops but you would be luck to walk into a shop and just find the regular cover. Multiple covers didn't seem to hurt Adventure Time or AvX. ...... I dunno why every one is whining about what the "real print run" is. Collectors want a good story that keeps them entertained. Creators want a huge print run that sells out to show its a good read or "hot title" Flippers will just add the title "rare sold out" to any eBay auction anyways. Hoarders are just gamblers with comics. if they don't understand what gambling is then they should not buy in the masses to begin with. Every gambler has losses but still is stupid enough to play 10 team parlay card in hopes to be a millionaire over night. ..... Now before people pick on me.... I will admit that I invested in every cover. I have many many copies of each and did not pay outrageous prices. I was able to make deals before the con or drop dates. IF this comic bottoms out yeah that sucks but I made the decision on my own. I did not let others influence my buying and will not complain or whine. Besides I would of lost more betting on Notre Dame to cover against Boston College. At least this way if i lose on this gamble I have multiple piles of tissue paper verses a single losing bet voucher. Maybe the more people who have a chance to read an issue or few will turn to buying other covers, but at least they get a chance to read it. I would rather have thousands of people get the chance to read it and love it verse a very very short print run with members holding on to hundreds or thousands of copies.

Still waiting on my Third eye batch.... Got a tracking on 10/29 but was not mailed until today How can i track my Forbidden Planet purchase? Just need these to finish off my #1 sets.

Happy Halloween guys. I am bummed that I had to go straight from work to oakland for a R Kelly concert with the gf. I missed out on stopping by the LCS. At least when I go home I have two boxes of either phantom or detroit variants to inspect. Hope kids don't think there's candy in them...

but isn't the hunt part of the fun? nice snag! True I love it. But given a 5 dollar shipping charge compared to 30+ dollars in tolls, parking and gas or 15+ dollars for train tickets... I'll take the stuff mailed to me. True I guess depending on the issue I'd rather have piece of mind that my comic is handled properly and not played with like a Frisbee in the mail room. *sorry no offense to the usps it was a joke.*
