Well like I said, if you can work with the LCS and you know if you go there weekly if he is nice or not. My guy knows that I feed him hundreds of dollars a month, so he knows what I collect and he never puts a limit on what I buy, but like I said, pick up a preview and order ahead, and pay ahead, and all will be fine. If they won't work with you then move on....and if you only have the one shop, buy online...and there are many good people her to buy from right here on these boards, just look around, and they will treat you right. My 2cents anyway.........

If you get to know your shop owner, then grab a previews book an let him order you as many As you like.... This way he still has his stock On the shelf and hopefully he Will give you yours at a small discount.

I was at my LCS today and they had a couple number ones still on the shelf, they had a bit of shelf damage so I passed but was scratching my head at the same time.

Well they have to try something to sell theses books, seems like the market has stalled on theses.........raw #1's can still be had on eBay or cover and last few 9.8 slab sales are under $40.

That looks like something that someone doesn't know what they are getting. If you order 250 2nd Prints you can get one of the leftover Ditko 1 in 200 that Marvel has. It's not a different book. The picture in the auction is of the 2nd Print. Ya I thought I was missing something when it said 2ND PRINT VARIANT 1:250 DITKO VARIANT ... Figured he was confused ....
