  1. Having not followed the whole drama, I am not clear on what the response was when the seller realized they confused the buyer with someone else. If I got a message (as a buyer) explaining that the seller always add a $1 buffer to make sure shipping is covered, made it clear that the dollar amount they charged is for cardboard sandwich only, and apologized for mixing me up with someone that paid a larger dollar amount for shipping, I would probably be satisfied and buy from them again. Communication is everything.
  2. As in, the seller charges different amounts, and uses different shipping methods depending on the buyer or book? I suppose I would ask why I was charged a larger dollar amount for lesser shipping. Obviously, the communication that would occur would be the deciding factor as to whether I feel the person was an honest seller, or not. The seller uses different shipping methods depending on number of issues being shipped and raw vs graded. It appears the amount charged for shipping is less than $1 difference. I don't believe the amount paid was the issue. My opinion would have less to do with a dollar amount, and mostly on how the seller responds to their mistake.

  4. Don't know the backstory, so here's an unbiased opinion. If a seller told me they charged X amount for shipping, because they ship using a box w/bubble wrap. That is exactly what I would expect. It really doesn't matter if it arrived safely, what matters is being lied to by a seller. If it arrived safely, fantastic. I would then never order from that seller again, and make sure others were aware that the seller lied about how they ship, and why they charge what they charge. Simple as that. Lots of people selling books out there, move on to an honest one.
  5. I found this enjoyable. Could you please point me in the direction of the $25 GOTG #1's please?
  6. If you shut off the light, light a candle and say it 5 times in the mirror, maybe she'll appear! she appears...with her fiancé.
  7. The death angle will be at best, barely touched on. No way they actually have a "Mistress Death" character that plays any significant role. I agree with Mangbus, I can see them doing a "we need to do whatever we have to do to stop Thanos from collecting all the stones", kind of story....likely ending with a hero sacrificing himself to save the day (and fulfill his contract). There will never actually be a "Thanos with the gauntlet controlling the universe part of the movie". I think for a couple of reasons. 1. It would be very difficult to FAITHFULLY translate the original story to a film, and a HUGE risk for Marvel to try to adapt it, as written. 2. It would be impossible to tell that specific story, with the current bullpen of heroes in the cinematic universe. -No Surfer -No Galactus, Eternity, Celestials (all the cosmic badasses...) -No Warlock (though I concede he COULD be introduced in GOTG) - No Mephisto Now, I suppose they could try to shoehorn a bunch of these characters in (at least the one's that they have the rights to)...but thus far, that has not been the Marvel way. I think no matter what, we get a water down, slightly generic version of the story. Hopefully the execution is good enough that it will not matter, to us nerds that love it so dearly. MY
  8. I absolutely love all things Infinity Gauntlet...Thanos, etc. That said...you all know that where ever Marvel is taking the Thanos storyline, that there is zero chance of it being very close to the actual mini series...right? I feel like some people are in for quite a disappointment if they are hoping to see a faithful adaptation, of IG on the big screen.
