  1. Yes. It's the issue they officially connect him to the Snake-Eyes/Storm Shadow origin. Firefly was a member of their ninja clan and was originally suppose to kill Snake-Eyes for Cobra Commander. It's revealed that Firefly is the "Faceless Master" who had been referenced before in the series. (thumbs u great! thanks for that, is there any 2nd printing for this issue? or it's just newstand and direct variant?
  2. Hi, guys. Why is GI Joe vol. 1 #126 in the $10 market? Is it a key issue for Firefly?
  3. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dynamic-Forces-Red-Sonja-Sketch-Card-by-Frank-Brunner/140662674072 Yay or neigh?
  4. @wizardseye311 Ohh, I get it now, thanks fot the information. it's so obvious that you can see the variations of color on both versions. and I didn't see that Brunner until just now. That's just awesome.
  5. That is some sweet copy. I've been always eyeing a dynamite copy of 22 23 24s Segovia covers here, no luck as well. i want them to get signed, too bad no one really collects the she devil here. Some potential bad news: This comic is not yet in my hands, it was purchased via Comiclink whose head office is in Maine. They did not yet ship this out, and I have heard that their warehouse was flooded due to hurricane Sandy. ( can anyone confirm this information? ) I hope my book is ok... That's sad new, I hope everyone is okay there. and I hope your comic is alright and the warehouse itself.
  6. I have never seen a colored OA before. wow.

  8. This one that was on Comiclink recent focused auction. http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2Fauctions%2Fbids%2Easp&id=950985 I had a 9.4 raw but sold it at the recent Edmonton Pop Culture comic convention. I love this book, the Red Sonja portrayed inside is my favorite: she is a flirty "swashbuckler" Can't see. I will post a new image once I have the book in hand, is in transit, I expect I will have it by the weekend.
  9. can't open the said window, error something.

  11. that's not bad for something I'm not really interested in. thanks for quick response!
  12. Anyone knows anything about this? I have no knowledge of this whatsoever I just found it my comic bin to my surprise it was limited. Any insights on how rare and valuable it is will be appreciated. Thanks.
  13. That's one obvious miscut. So this is the sketch I got. You guys enjoy.
  14. my brother went to a local con here and luckily he was able to get me a sketch by Fritz Casas who did Queen Sonja. i'll try to post it later, Lui Anotnio was there too, but I wasn't able to ask my brother to get me a sketch from him.
  15. These are so awesome. I'd be a happy duck if I had one of the OAs even if it's a quick sketch by Thorne or Buscema.
  16. CGC might not recognize the mis-cut. but there are so many other issues with that #1 it wouldn't be worth the cost of shipping and grading just to get a 5.5. Look for a perfect one that will get a 9.6 or 9.8 to justify the cost. Or buy one already graded to lessen the risk. Mark Jeweler copies have an ad insert for jewelry that was added to comics sold around military bases. The insert was made of heavier stock paper, and "supposedly" the comics hold up better due to the stiffness of the card stock. She's on the cover of Savage Sword #1 and #23 and appears in several issues up to #233. I think the first De Zuniga artwork for Savage Sword was #45. You can Wiki Red Sonja for a list of all her appearances except for issue #33 of Conan. Which Gyro insists counts because there's a picture of her and part of a sentence referring to her in it (). Thank you for this one, though I'm not planning to get it grade, since as you said it's really beaten up. Yeah, saw some sample photos of those Mark Jeweler sets, it's pretty interesting that CGC would recognize them as a variant. I too want to hunt them out. I'm pretty much a cover slut, when it comes to collecting. Haha. So I'm liking the #23. and as for Zuniga you're right, it was at issue #45.
  17. Though as you said if I get it graded, CGC doesn't recognize that mis-cut right? You can hold it for me for a while. @gyro 1 sorry who's Mark? is that a website? Anyways, what should issues should I get in the Savage sword of Conan, if I'm after Red Sonja art? I have a friend who knows the wife of the late Tony De Zuniga if ever you want a OA or pin ups, signed comics as well, I can ask him.
  18. @gyro1 Now that's research, but good luck with that, I hope you get the answer you're looking for. @wizardseye311 Thanks for the input, what are the reasons for mis-cut? The printing press itself? I didn't pay for it that much. Thank you for that! I would love that Red Sonja #1! Keep it for me!
  19. It's tough. Though it's not that much of a concern here, well for some they store it the proper way, but the comic industry here in the Philippines right now is doing good. Collectors are getting around. Look what I have, can you guys give it a quick grade. Am I in the club now?
  20. Yeah, but it's pretty far from the capital, where I live. And our country is more of the mainstream collector type so it's pretty tough to get some of the underrated characters here. In other words you are more likely to see a IM#55 here than a Conan #23/#24.
  21. That is one sexy book, on other news my first Sonja book came in today, I'll get it scan later.
  22. I'll have a book #1 1977 coming, it's a raw one, I'll try to look into it.
  23. Can someone educate me with the printing variations and how will you know them.
  24. Actually I have a relative in Alberta, Canada right now, in Edmonton. I'll try to look into it, thanks for the hook up.
