Flash Update
I am interested/concerned with how they deal with super speed on the show. It is easy effect wise to make a show about someone who is a highly talented but normal human. I think it is much harder to do when you have to create the effects for the Flash.
I have very high hopes for the show and am very excited to see what they come up with.

I can only imagine the thought of seeing a glossy issue of #139 on the racks. (Literally as my parents were 3 years old at the time.) I have always found the contrast of colors great on this issue with Flash and Zoom on the Purple backdrop.

Wow, can't say I am surprised though as it makes sense.
How exactly was the revelation made? I imagine whoever first came to the realization must of felt like Langdon in the Da Vinci Code.

I should finally have my hands on my prized 139 in a few days from CGC. To say I'm ecstatic with the grade would be an understatement. It graded a 9.0 with OW/W PQ.
I would love to see pictures of this bad boy in 9.0. I am looking for a nice #139 myself right now.

I think I officially have enough SA Flash to join the club now. I decided on SA Flash as another new collecting focus to start this year. This is the start I am off to.

Just watched this weeks episode. In my opinion this show is mind blowingly good. I can't remember the last show I enjoyed this much.
It will be interesting to see how many spinoffs they try to get out of this, or if they try to incorporate all these potential storylines into the show.

Thanks for the info. At this point I think there is literally 1 book a week that all of a sudden becomes hot. It's crazy. I have to go look at my copy, I think it is F/VF or so.

I bought the PS4 at launch, and turned it on maybe 4-5 times. There was really no reason to pick it up yet. Meanwhile, I'm still playing Skyrim, Dragon's Dogma and GT 5.
I don't think there's any reason to purchase any new console YET. Come March, maybe it'd be a good time. Good games coming for both the One and PS4. The only game that truly spoke next gen to me was Killzone Shadow Fall
I have pretty much zero interest in picking up the next gens in the near future. I am happily making my way through the Assassin's Creed series and still blown away each time I see the graphic improvements from game to game.

TT44 9.8 ended last night @ $330. It looks like the same guy won them both.
I wanted the newsstand version bad but my max on it I decided earlier was $310

If you are chasing newsstand editions, wait for the Canadian one instead. Likely the same price but print run should be 10% of the US version.
I already have a US 9.8 direct and a CAD 9.8 NS. Trying to finish off the trifecta with a US NS.
Anyone have opinions on the ceiling for this book? I have quite a few 9.8 and 9.6 coming back tomorrow.
Now with multiple sales breaking $300 I think it will have no problem sailing up to the 400 dollar range.
As far as ceiling, I really see $1k being tops for CA books in the near future, because at that point people ask themselves if they really would pay 4 figures from a book for the 80's and submissions skyrocket with people hoping to strike pay dirt. (See BA12.) That being said I am fairly confident we will see many of the bigger CA keys rise to healthy prices in the $400-600 dollar range and maintain them in the next year or two.

I was debating going after that 9.8. I think the buyer got a decent price on it.
