This book is well worth the little (and I mean really little) extra wait.

And to think I was upset I didn't go to NYCC. BTW...while you were at NYCC did you see any of these 14 page preview issues of this comic called "Spread" they were talking about on Comics Heating Up? Lone Wolf and Cub meets John Carpenters The Thing. Looks awesome. Hijacking this.... I got a few copies of Spread from Justin Jordan in AA at NYCC. Justin brought a few "previews" that were roughly the first 14 pages. Kyle Strahm's art inside is beautiful! The copies Justin and Kyle had at NYCC were just B&W on the inside pages but shortly after NYCC they put out a free "limited time" link to see the preview in color. Man it rocked!! When I was speaking with Justin he said they were still "shopping" the book. I'll definately be onboard when it comes out.

I know. Now I get to go through the ebay circus to get a refund. happy happy joy joy!

Well thought I had a decent deal on a B&W Walking Dead 1 from Wizard World Chicago but I guess people just dont know how to ship! Book was in a cardboard sandwich but the books had slide out the side of the bag (the side...how the eff does a book fall out the side?!) The tape that was used to secure the book to the cardboard is on the cover about 1/4 inch in. Fantastic! No deal for me ebay

I picked one up at NYCC, but I didn't browse through it yet. Unless someone else responds, I'll take a look when I get home from work and let you know what extra content is included. There is nothing extra in the book. Just hard bound with the first trade inside. No forward or afterward.

Between NYCC, ItsJustRyan's sales thread, and the #2b, I'm going to claim bankruptcy. brb I know what you mean. NYCC was costly. I took my B&W to NYCC to get signed. Hoping to have it back in a few weeks.

Yeah. I'm a loser and hadn't picked one up yet. I'm getting ready to check out of my hotel and head back to the con for a few more hours. Should be able to grab one as I plan on finding Ken and MK. Happy Birthday as well!!

Just got back from the store. B&W was already spoken for....no blanks available....Had the midnight variant priced at $10.....I walked out with only 1 copy of the regular cover....now I need to read it!! This is going to be awesome!!!

I would think they can sell the next day. Midtown has the midnight release variant for sale online so anyone can get it.

I chatted with 3 LCS today. 1st is selling his to a long time regular for a cheap price, but would let me know what price that was. 2nd shop was asking $175 for his. Last, I went to my shop that I have had a hold box for 12 years. Manager wasnt sure on price yet but said would let me know and give me first shot. Hoping they give me a deal since I've shopped with them for a long time but we will see.

The image that bffnut is the midnight release and truthfully won't be hard to find. Think you can order it from Midtown now. The link you posted is the black and white sketch variant for the midnight release. It's the one that is suppose to be 1 per store that is partaking in the midnight release of 115. There is the black and white sketch of #1 that is exclusive to NYCC as well. So only 2 black and white sketchs released next week that we know of....the midnight 115 1 per store and the #1 NYCC exclusive.

I don't believe there is a letter attached to the midnight sketch variant. I believe the midnight sketch variant is one per store that is doing the midnight release.
