  1. Up for sale are my Fantastic Four 600 slabs. Shipping will be $10 for the 1-2 books, $15 for 3. Will ship USPS Priority Mail, fully insured. I prefer PayPal goods and services as payment. The first wins the book and will trump any negotiations going on via PM. Prices are firm and I'm not interested in trades at this point. Thanks for looking. Hoping I can find a good home for these beauts! Fantastic Four 600 Quesada variant color (CGC 9.8 white pages) - $45.00 Fantastic Four 600 John Romita JR variant (CGC 9.8 white pages) - $30.00 Fantastic Four 600 Adams variant (CGC 9.6 white pages) - $30
  2. I have a few like that as well. My FF 51 has white pages but the cover itself is OW at best.
  3. I get that the paper is different but I would think the exposed area would start to tan before the inside of the book? Just seems odd to me. Thanks for your explanation!
  4. Good day, all! I have created this thread in order for the people who buy from and/or sell to me to leave a few kind comments. I try to be an upstanding member of the boards and will continue to do so as long as I am a member here. So feel free to let me know how our transaction went and if there were any things I could have done better. Thanks a million! Rob
  5. I found FF 96 in the wild, sent it in to CGC and somehow came back with OWW pages. How do the pages go to OWW when the cover is blinding white?
  6. I believe Matt walked away, never to be seen or heard from ever again. 🤔
  7. Hey Matt, I'd like to revisit Marvel Team-Up #1. In the past, I have focused on the sale of a 9.8 copy from 2008. I believe this is why the points for the 9.8 won't adjust past 2,000. Below, I have given the last four sales of MTU 1 CGC 9.6 as documented by GPA. Please reconsider the point value of the ever scarce MTU 1 across the board. Marvel Team-Up 1 June 26, 2018 - CGC 9.6 ($2,275.00) October 16, 2018 - CGC 9.6 ($2,125.00) August 10, 2019 - CGC 9.6 ($2,650.00) November 14, 2019 - CGC 9.6 ($2,425.00) Score slightly increased. Please note that we use a scoring algorithm which means that changing one score in a specific grade will affect all other scores. To ensure that the other scores are not out of whack, I must carefully consider each increase. Some of the 9.8 sales you listed are a bit older/scarce or do not fall in line with the lower grade sales so I am not able to make changes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My next installment of Marvel Team-Up requests: 51-75 Issue current pts Last sale Average cost 51 56 Last sale in Jun 2018 was for $100 Selling for $28 in 9.6 so no increase due to above explanation. 55 80 2019 avg - $411 (three sold) 56 56 Last sale in Oct 2018 was for $225 59 80 Last sale in June 2019 was for $150 60 80 12 month average (2 sales) was for $237.50 62 72 2 recent sales with the last one being $275 63 72 Last sale in June 2019 was for $150 64 72 2019 average (2 sales) was $145 65 72 2020 average thus far (10 sales) is $480 68 72 Average of last two sales is $135 69 72 Last sale in July 2020 was for $140 71 48 Last sale in June 2020 was for $150 73 48 2018 average was $105 74 48 Last sale November 2019 was for $200 75 56 Last two sales averaged to be $102 (I just purchased mine from ComicLink for $100 https://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch_adv.asp%3Fall%3Dy%26TITLE%3DMarvel%2BTeam-Up%26TITLEOPT%3DALL%26ISSUE%3D%26Condition%3D09.8%26ConditionTo%3D10.0%26CGC%3DYES%26CensusRank%3D%26SearchPageQuality%3DWhite%2BPages%26Pedigree%3D%26PRICEF%3D%26PRICET%3D%26DESCRIPTION%3D%26DESCRIPTIONOPT%3DALL%26SearchRemarks%3D%26SearchCGC%3D%26EXCLUDE%3D%26CATEGORIES%3D-1%26WCATEGORIES%3D-1%26SORT%3DCATEG%26_where_forsale%3Dy%26_where_auctions%3Dy%26x%3D31%26y%3D16%26where_forsale%3Dy&id=1421054) Yet again, thanks for any and all considerations to score adjustments. I respect what you do tremendously. Many thanks!!
  8. I may never get the complete run but I will always keep searching for them. There's a handful that only have one issue graded as a 9.8 and one of them will probably be buried with the person who has it. But it's going to be a lot of fun finding them.
  9. 158 total including Marvel Two-In-One 17 crossover with the Basilisk fighting Spidey and the ever lovin' blue eyed Thing! 'Nuff said!
  10. Much appreciated, sir! I still only need 82 more books to complete the run in 9.8! LOL Not a sprint, rather a marathon.
  11. ***DISREGARD*** Please see my amended post above. Admins, feel free to delete both posts. My first explains the reason why this is not appropriate for this thread.
  12. Appreciate the offer but I’m only interested in 9.8 white MTU’s! awesome book all the same!
  13. I edited this post to keep a certain member's name off of this thread. It was not meant to draw attention to his name in a negative manner. I was just being leery of similarities in the name. A post should have went out if, and ONLY if something went wrong with a transaction. Apologies go out to the member I mentioned.
  14. I have a few early FFs for sale. I have listed them at FMV according to GPA. Prices are firm. Shipping USPS Priority Mail fully insured. PayPal accepted (no friends and family, please) potential buyers cannot be on the HOS or probation list. Returns accepted. SOLD - Fantastic Four 12 CGC 5.0 OW $1,000 SOLD - Fantastic Four 28 CGC 5.0 OW $150 SOLD - Fantastic Four 30 CGC 8.5 OW $275
  15. That makes sense to me! Thanks for the comments and insight on the point system.
  16. Hey Matt, Comic Connect auction realized prices for the following books. Marvel Team-Up 9 CGC 9.8 $560 Score Increased Marvel Team-Up 10 CGC 9.8 $1,000 Score not changed. Marcel Team-Up 18 CGC 9.8 $398Score not changed. @Robert Doggett, Thank you for your due diligence. Please note that I will not be reviewing and updating scores every time one book is sold. In order to properly determine the scores we require multiple sales in multiple grades. #10 and #18 do not warrant an increase as the sales for one 9.8 book seem skewed and will throw off our scoring formula for all other grades. Could you please take a look at these? I will provide links To the books tomorrow. I think these prices are a wee bit inflated, especially issue 10. It appears that two people with sheer determination to win were bidding on this book and one finally came to their senses. LOL This shouldn't be more than a $600 book. Bottom line is that someone actually paid this $1K.

  18. Matt, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I swear I think I'm in the right thread when I post this stuff. I'll be more aware of my surroundings from now on. My apologies!!
