  1. NYCC FT Modern Sig Series Received 10/16/2013 Verified 10/22/2013
  2. Thanks to Darrell F for getting these sigs at Dragoncon.
  3. Selling a lot of sketches and a Duchovny/Anderson X-Files book: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7041853#Post7041853
  4. Huge thanks to Darrell F for getting these done at Dragoncon. So glad I could get the two Game of Thrones stars that were there added to my books from Tampa. A couple stars that I wanted cancelled (Stephen Amell on the Arrow book and Amy Acker for an Angel book) but hopefully I can get them at later shows. On an unrelated note, if anyone is a fan of Smallville, Megacon has a great guest list. The actors that played Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Chloe, Jimmy Olsen, Braniac, and Supergirl will be there. I'm planning on getting at least one done myself to go with my Arrow book. The Arrow book is signed by these actors: John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn) Manu Bennett (Slade Wilson/Deathstroke) Seth Gabel (The Count) Kelly Hu (China White) Janina Gavankar (McKenna Hall) I plan to have Stephen Amell added at Emerald City if there's a facilitator doing celebrity requests. Game of Thrones #1 signed by: Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) Rory McCann (The Hound) James Cosmo (Jeor Mormont - Lord Commander of the Night's Watch) Jason Mamoa (Khal Drogo) Natalia Tena (Osha) The retailer sketch variant is signed by the same celebs except Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey.
  5. X-Files and Robot Chicken: Funny story: David actually signed on my window bag first, but luckily he signed in the open area after I asked him.
  6. All are the lone SS copy and the X-Men book is the only graded copy period on the census. I wish the Borderlands and Last of Us were 9.8s but they're for my own collection so I might press them. Interesting bit on the Borderlands comic: the cover artist didn't see the comic in person until he signed it for me. Apparently, IDW never sent him a copy. He also did the cover for his own enjoyment and IDW liked it enough to use it as a variant cover.
  7. Nice, I wanted to get O'Malley at SDCC but he wasn't signing. Too bad there aren't many O'Malley books that can get graded.
  8. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6790007&Board=79&fpart=all&gonew=1#UNREAD I posted some sketches that I haven't had up for sale before. Please look, thanks!
  9. A few books from Megacon and FCBD at Yancy St. Comics. All are the only graded SS copy on the census. Mark Texeira Ron Garney Jim Cheung Francesco Francavilla
  10. This thread could also be titled which sketch covers are you least likely to sell. Besides having an ongoing theme of X-Men and Batman (mostly Harley Quinn) sketches I like to request characters that artists haven't draw before or haven't drawn in a while. Mark Texiera - I really love this one. I watched Mark paint it from start to finish. I think when you actually watch the artist create the art it makes it more special. Clay Mann - Every sketch he does is amazing. This is my first of many from him. Artgerm - This sketch is one of the best Harley's I've seen. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to buy it. Big thanks to Doug (dscott). Cary Nord - My first convention commission on a sketch cover. Kurt Busiek's and Cary Nord's Conan was one of the first comics I bought with my own money and followed monthly so I really wanted a sketch from him. There were no Conan blanks so I came up with an alternative: Cave Batman from the Return of Bruce Wayne. Stephen Segovia - In line with my second theme I wanted a character that Stephen hadn't drawn yet. Stephen draws a great Wolverine and great women, so I guessed he would draw a great X-23. I was right and he drew one of the best X-23's I've seen. Thank you Mike for setting up the op.
  11. Some sketches for sale and one or two SS books. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6680429#Post6680429
  12. My Modern FT SS submission that was received on 3/18 finally shipped. It was in graded/quality control for more than two weeks.
  13. Finally got to scanning the onsite SS books I got done at Megacon:
  14. Sorry for the glare, it's from the inner well.
  15. Big thanks to Par2ch and BradleyX2 for helping me get my first SS submission at the Tampa Bay Comic Con . They all came back 9.8s
  16. They only lasted a few months, probably because they tasted terrible.
