  1. Great books jayman! That White Mountain copy looks sweet adamstrange. (thumbs u
  2. I agree. I thought it should be noted as a "Decapitation cover". It's an erlenmeyer flask.
  3. my take: he shot the girl, hence his shock, and the monster grinning at him for his lousy aim.
  4. Here's one of my favorite Jack Davis covers.
  5. Here's a Wood Tales from the Crypt. It's an odd way to swing an ax, but a great cover.
  6. I just got this one recently, so I can't feel so bad.
  7. Indeed - also visible on the WS 13. I admit to being a big Feldstein fan (EC's only left-handed artist, I believe). Rec'd this classic today from a boardie: Great pick-up. Sweet copy.

  9. Very cool, it looks like the second light source could be from a bright full moon up in the sky. I also like how the art breaks up into the title masthead! (thumbs u That's the other aspect of this cover that makes it one of his best.
  10. An all time favorite Wood cover of mine. He was known for drawing with two light sources. This cover shows that prefect. You can see that the shadows are going towards the lights from the car from a separate light source.
  11. Here's an Atlas I picked up recently from a fellow bordie. It's a nice mix of horror and sci/fi.
  12. Woody knew how to modify the space suits for the girls.
  13. Here's another great one. This is the Spokane copy.
  14. Ya know, you should start posting some of your sweet ECs over in the fanatics thread instead of playing around with bleedin' 'eads! OK.
  15. Here's one of my favorite Wood sci/fi covers.
