  1. Here are a few new ones in my collection.

The Black Cat 47 just came back from CGC today. It tied one other for highest grade. I love the horror-sci/fi covers.

The Red Seal is my first Chesler book. [cloud9]

  2. ^That's my plan. I am trying to buy the actual human being to display and perhaps bring out for parties and what not.

A desire definitely worthy of a PCH comic book. I can just see the Jack Davis cover.

I would be in a labcoat with sweat dripping and a maniacal smile while NC floats angrily in a bubbly tube as a female screams "You fiend! You've brought the monster back!"

That would sum up many of the great Harvey pre-code covers.

I just picked up Nick a short time ago on a trade for some Classics Illustrated. If your interested in him, PM me and I'll give you a good deal. lol

  3. I agree with Twistty1. The book looked real nice from the scans, but I'm not willing to bid high $$ for a raw book without actualy seeing it. I'm willing to take a chance and roll the dice on less expensive books, but on something like this, I'd like to see a CGC grade on it. My 2 cents.

  4. It was wrong for me to post anything negative about Tomorrow’s Treasures. I’ve gotten some great books from him in the past. The books mentioned previously looked good when I received them and they probably looked good to Richie too. Without giving him the opportunity to correct the problem, it was unfair to bring it up. I would just say to look over your purchases and make sure it’s what you expected. If there is a problem, contact him, and I’m sure he’ll correct the problem. My apologies to Richie and Tomorrows Treasures. [sorry]

  5. Tomorrows Treasures sells GA books.

Anyone have any experience with them?

    Johnny

I bought books from him as "no restoration" and "no conservation" and recieved PLOD's from CGC...[cry]

Did you contact him about it?

They were purchases made long ago (well over a year), but not submitted until recently. I didn't try to contact him. Too much time had passed. I will say that I have had other previous purchases that did do well at CGC.
