Sorry for the lateness I had to take my kid to the doc this morning, summer cold. She is fine. And now my offer up to the amazing giving tree. Option 1 is a set of Nowhere men 1-5 + a reprint of #1 + 3 issues of #4 and 3 issues of #5 ( 10 comic total) [/img] Next option to the glorious giving tree is 5 issues of Strange tales. Issue 118,119,131,161 and 167. They belong to my father who read them , passed them down to me. I read them so they have seen some love. They are old beat but complete with art and story. If I claim something can I offer up something other than a comic or tpb like say a batman kai action figure or does it have to be comic literature?

I bought superman adventures #5 first live wire from maidenmate91 and the items arrived well packed and in better condition than described. Great seller and a all around nice person. I will be buying from this boardie again. God bless

I wish i could find one of those covers. I live in a city with one comic store and by the time i get off work they are sold out. Congrats on the finds of the AoS #14.

Sometimes they give like 3 cents a comic. If you have a lot of bulk comics they give you a nice deal, I sold them some comics from the 90, s around 30 or so and made around 20$.

Its a old world of Warcraft name, I use to use a Tauren shaman and figured the taurens were getting a bad rap and that they thought the horses were all majestic and stuff and figured they hated them for that so horsehater came about and i stuck with it.

He does collect arrow heads and other native american artifacts and over the years i have given him loads of them that i have found on my farm in Goliad Texas. Sorry didn't mean to make my post a while back sound smug i just thought it was nice that he gave sold me a comic that i have been looking for.

Yeah he is a good friend that works at the store. Every day he prices comics . They even tell the people that bring in comics that they are not a comic store and you will not get what you could if you sold it to a comic store or ebay so people still sale their issue to the store. He keeps some stuff for himself. i turned down a lowered grade walking dead #1 and told him to keep it. The person that turned in the walking dead got $1.00 for selling it to the store. Unless you have a great friend like he is you just wouldn't get it and no i am not taking advantage of him. To him its just reading material. He even told me that the comics that don't sell get sent to a paper recycling place.

I took him out to grimaldi,s pizza , he is not much of a collector so he said thanks and enjoy the comic. Bout a year ago he came across an asm #14 bout a 1.0 he gave it to me for a birthday present. He is a great friend.

Yeah it was in their received stacks and i have a buddy that lets me pick through them and i saw it asked him what he wanted for it he just said pay me half of what the comic is worth, So paid $1.50 for a 9.0 preacher #1 not to shabby.

I know he is already on th pl but im nominating themightyjohn for it because of a transaction that occurs during his vcc thread. I paid him $30 for a book and because I sent the money as s friend I could not get a refund. After many attempt to contact him I finally sent this on 3/18/14. I dont know what happened i do hope everything is ok, its been way too long and im going to nominate you for the probation list if you dont send word of the comic shipping or an email letting me every thing is ok. please let me know something . Its been more than 72 hours so just chalk one more mark on his probation list. I just dont understand why someone would want to do something like that, I know it was just $30 but I guess I dont like being taken advantage of. Well have a great day boarded.

Well i sent themightyjohn a pm telling hill ill take his batman #227 on 2/22/14 on the 25th he told me to send him the money, since i have bought from him in the past i sent it as a gift.( i will never do that again , glad it was only $30) Then on 3/8 i sent him another message asking if he has sent out the comics, nothing from him yet. Last pm to him was sent to him on 3/17 and still nothing. So then i went to pay pal and sent him a message that away and still nothing. So from what i have read do i send him a pm telling him that im nominating him for the probation list? Im optimistic i hope nothing happened to him but then again i have had a stoke of bad luck lately.

That beware looks amazing, I picked these up at a yard sale today, not in the best shape but the covers looked really cool. Not bad for a buck each.

Hello guys , i have a Hulk #1 question to ask and you guys are comprised of some of the most top notch collectors in the world . So here goes. I am by chance not a collector that could drop thousands of dollars on a hulk #1 but as of right now i have a chance to get one, The gentle man who is selling the hulk #1 said the raw grade is a 1.5 to a 2.0 , he wants $2300 for the raw book and is also throwing in a 5.0 iron-man #55 raw as well. My question is what would the value of a current 1.5 to a 2.0 be going for, i just don't want to over pay for one or it be over graded, i do have a picture of the book and i have bought from this guy before.
